Sherpa used in Cristalica The largest pyramid shopping centre project in the world ‘Cristalica’ in Brandenburg, Germany was built using Sherpa Connectors. The glass pyramid is not only an eye-catcher but a 1,400 square meter large sales hall. The foot print is 35m x 35m with a height of 18meter. More than 200 cubic meter of timber was used in the construction with the largest truss being 33 meter long. Approximately 6000 individual glass pieces are on display for sale in the pyramid which also employs around 80 staff. The planned visual construction needed especially strong but also invisible connectors. Sherpa connector technology allowed this sophisticated structure to be built. http://www.cristalica.de/ Should you plan to build a structure, bigger or smaller than this pyramid (maybe just a car port, sunroom or stairs) please contact us for more information on Sherpa Connectors.
