Our mission: To Proclaim Jesus Christ to the World!
As We Gather for Worship This Week...
Altar Flowers are given to the glory of God by the congregation.
Communion Elements are given to the glory of God by Gini Strasser and
family in memory of their grandmother/great-grandmother/great-greatgrandmother, Pearl Bates and in honor of Alan Lewis’ birthday.
Our Nursery is well-staffed and equipped to minister during both worship
services and Sunday School to children ages 5 years and under.
The Salisbury Colonnade provides an entrance at the back of the sanctuary
which worshipers are encouraged to use for access to the nursery and rest rooms
during services. Worshipers who have difficulty managing steps are also urged
to use the Colonnade entrance.
Easter Worship
Today we celebrate God’s victory over sin, death, and the devil through the
love of Jesus Christ. The cross of suffering has become the symbol of the
victorious power of God’s love. Easter is God’s promise that “Nothing can
separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38). No
matter what your situation in life today, no matter how you feel, take this
promise with you: you are loved, and you are never alone. Christ is Risen!
Alleluia!
Easter Breakfast
Our annual Easter Breakfast is from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. (between the 8:30 a.m.

Mission Possible Campaign 2017
DID YOU KNOW? As of July 22nd gifts and pledges to Mission Possible
totaled $871,022 toward the challenge goal of $3 million. These gifts and
pledges have come from individuals, families, foundations and one-time gifts
through the efforts of volunteers making major advance gift visits. This work
will continue for the remaining two years of the three year campaign. The
Mission Possible congregational phase launched at the 2015 Florida-Bahamas
Synod Assembly. Forty-five congregations invited volunteers to make a
Mission Possible presentation to a congregational council meeting. Many, like
our congregation, have appointed a volunteer to lead the five week minicampaign. Congregational campaigns will continue across this synod through
the spring of 2017 when Mission Possible officially ends. The challenge goal
is truly possible. You can help our congregation to make Mission Possible! If
you still have questions please contact Tom Culverwell, Cell: (904)254-0063,
Email: [email protected].
