The place, London. The time, 1843. The
season, that of jollity and festivity and charity, holly and berries and goodwill to all
men. But Ebenezer Scrooge, a wretched and
miserly old man, refuses to join in until the
ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet
To Come force him to change his ways. A
Christmas Carol is a classic Dickensian tale
of redemption for Christmas. Christmas?
Bah! Humbug!
