WEDDING CEREMONIES
• Guests may bring their own minister for non-legal ceremonies. Judges must perform legal ceremonies.
• For religious or non denominational ceremonies,it is not necessary to complete all the legal requirements.
• For Catholic ceremonies, couple must visit their pastor or Parish Priest and complete the required
paperwork.Couple must do their pre marital courses in their country.
• Guests may also provide their own music,sound system is included during the wedding ceremony.

The Lucky Love Wedding Package includes the silver buffet

We always have a backup plan to accommodate the ceremony
in case of bad weather. During the interview, the wedding
coordinator explains the process and, in the morning of the
wedding day (early),the couple have a meeting with her in order
to take a decision about the location. In this case, the backup
location will be assigned according to the number of guests in
the group, and the decoration.

SHIPPING PROCEDURES
Breathless Punta Cana highly recommends that all additional decorations and/or favors be brought with the
couple on the plane. If it is necessary to ship boxes prior to the couples arrival, we suggest using either FEDEX
or UPS and shipping everything a month and a half in advance to ensure all boxes clear customs.
•
Please be advised that food, animals, insects or natural flowers are not permitted to enter the Dominican
Republic.
•
Label all boxes with your name and clearly specify the date you will be arriving. Breathless Punta Cana will
deliver gifts to the guest’s rooms. There will be a $3.00 USD. A complete list of all guests along with room
numbers is required.Once the boxes have been shipped, please send an e-mail to the wedding coordinator
with the following information to allow us to track the packages:

PAY M E N T P O L I C Y
Deposit Policy
A $100.00 deposit is required to confirm and hold the requested wedding date. This deposit
can then be applied toward ceremony and/or reception upgrades which have been purchased
in addition to the wedding package. If the wedding couple chooses not to purchase additional
ceremony and/or reception amenities, the credit can then be applied toward any room
charges upon check out, including but not limited to phone charges, spa treatments and logo
shop purchases. Any remaining credit balance will be refunded in the form of the original
payment.
Cancellation Policy
The wedding can be canceled six or more months prior to the confirmed date without
penalties. If the wedding is canceled within six months, the non-refundable deposit will
be kept as a penalty. If the wedding is canceled, but the couple still travels as planned, the
deposit can then be applied toward any additional room charges made during their stay.

The property does not assume responsibility for any items, personal or professional, brought
onto the resort prior to, during or after the wedding event. These include, but are not limited

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
Documentation required by the Dominican Law in order to be legally married in the Dominican Republic.
Civil Wedding
•
Birth Certificate of Bride and Groom or certified copy of Birth certificate. If parents’ names are not shown
on the certificates, please indicate them separately.
•
Notarized Declaration of Single status for the Bride and Groom. If previously married, submit two copies of
the Divorce Decree or Death Certificate. There is a mandatory waiting period for women, 10 months before
they are legally allowed to remarry.
•
A photocopy of Bride and Groom’s Passport (or documents used to enter the DR).
•
Photocopies of all Witnesses Passports (cannot be family members). If necessary, resort will provide
witnesses.
•
Bride & Groom must be in the country 3 business days prior to the wedding. Symbolic and non-legal
ceremonies allow flexibility for arrival date. Please speak with the wedding coordinator to discuss
requirements.
Please note: The Dominican Republic is now a member of the La Hague Convention, please have your official documents apostilled
by your Secretary of State Office. You can Also contact “Vitalcheck.com” to request apostilled Documents. All documents must be
translated and legalized by the Dominican Consulate prior to arriving in the Dominican Republic, except for the Passports. The
documents should be legalized by the Dominican Consulate no more than 3 months prior to the wedding date. It is the couple’s
responsibility to have all the documentation ready prior to the wedding. The Judge is an outside service provided by the Dominican
Government. We cannot be held responsible for any delay or alteration. The Judge will duly register your Wedding Certificate at the
Central Civil Board and legalize it with the Foreign Affairs Department of the Dominican Republic. We will then send the Wedding
Certificate to the couple via mail which may take up to 10-12 weeks. The Civil Wedding is celebrated in Spanish. If necessary,
