EDITING TASK : IDENTIFY THE PROBLEMS IN EACH COMPOSITION AND
REWRITE IT USING MORE ACCURATE LANGUAGE AND BETTER STYLE.
(1) The office of my dreams ((my father’s office))
Listening to the sound of bird’s singing, to the trees dancing, feeling the fresh air.
This is how I feel when I stand in front of my father’s office.
My father’s office have a large black leather sofa were I can sit comfortably, facing
a sleekly brown desk which he keeps a small frame that has the family picture in it
and stationary, files and papers. There is also, a huge black meeting table that is
enough for twelve persons. Furthermore, there is a medium size portrait hanging
behind his desk with a golden frame from an artist friend. Not to forget that
there is many awards on the shelves that are hanging on the walls.
Moreover, my father’s office is simple and classic it has Paige wall-paper and
brown parquet and plain curtains. There is a beautiful vase on the side table near
the black sofa. And there are different types of colorful flowers which he grow in
a small garden outside his office. what I love the most is my father’s books in his
small library in the corner of the office, which contains different types of books in
different languages such as English, French and Arabic.
If I could choose my office in the future, I would choose in office just like my
father’s simple and classic office with its beautiful antique style. However, I
would extension the library.
(2) my uncle’s office
My uncle works at ((mutah university)),he lives in the university housing where
there have an interesting office.
His office, which is on the third floor, its located in the front hall,you can notice it
in the hall corner near the window but my uncle doesn’t like natural lighting, so
most of time he using lampshades .It’s not widish but it’s suitable for my uncle
job, so that the office will not be messy.
The office looks refreshing, because of virginity flowers next to the table. The
computer in the center of the table with rolling chair , it’s include six shelves
where he keeps his books and worksheets. In the center of the wall ,he hung his
graduation picture .the floor made of wood to moves quickly.
My uncle’s office look comfortable. He compete his works in fast time and quiet
atmosphere .You feel exciting to doing your work there and if you feel boring you
can take a look to the university campus.
(3) Rice & Bowl
It’s a really great idea to have a dishes in Rice & Bowl restaurant. It is
located in Al-Seef mall and they have another one in City Center. If you are
interest of being in Lebanon so you can go there and enjoy.
Rice & Bowl has many ideas reflects the traditional style between Lebanon and
Bahrain. The walls fall of many painting pictures refers to the old women and
man clothes and jewelry although you have set on comfortable wooden tables
and chairs decorating with painting cushions. The lower music for Fairooz you
feel that you are there truly.
The smell of the bakers breads makes you feel hungry. really hard to waits the
delicious dishes that mixed between two flavors from two different countries with
freshness drinks served by friendly and smiling waiters.
It was a good choice for me and I will never get bored or regret to visited again
and again.
