Paper Clip Angel

Cut a piece of gathered lace, about 4”
Slip the paper clip into the casing on the lace to form the skirt.
Cut a piece of 1/8” ribbon about 9”
Wrap the ribbon around the intersection of the paper clip.
Thread both ends through the ½” wood bead.
Tie a large knot at the ends of the ribbon.
Cut a glitter chenille stem about 1 ½”, form a circle for the halo.
Glue Hair on the wood bead (optional)
Glue halo to the top of the wood bead.
Use permanent fine tip markers to draw on the angel’s face.
Glue glitter to the wing sections (optional)
Bottle Cap Hot Pads

Cut circles of felt about 2 ½” out of desired colors
Sew a running stich around the outside edge
Place a bottle cap in the center of the circle
Pull the thread tight around the cap and knot tightly.
Repeat as many times as needed for your design.
Sew covered caps to a piece of felt, cut out in your design.
Sew an additional piece of felt to the back by using a blanket stitch along the edge.
Soda Can Flowers

Cut the top off 2 cans using a can opener or tin snips.
Using tin snips, cut the can from top to bottom in even 5 or 6 sections. Make sure the sections match both cans.
Make pointed ends at the end of each section.
Glue the cans together, wrong sides together with a ¼” dowel about 15” long between the cans.
Paint as desired.

and let dry. Glue corks to bottom half of
sheet, or around the edges to make a frame.
Glue magnets in bottle caps to make
magnets. (cover caps with fabric, scrap
paper, buttons, etc.) Tie ribbon to hang.

Glass Bottle Cups
Safe Glass Cutting:
Score glass even and smoothly with glass
cutting tool.
Boil water. Pour boiling water slowly over
score.
Glass will break at score line.
Sand the edges.
**Use safety glasses and gloves!
Wind Chimes: Bottles, utensils, pencils
Assembling wind chimes is done best with jewelry findings. (Chandelier Earring Base)
Fishing line or monofilament to string.
Shipping Pallet Planter
Envelope Organizer:
1. Glue envelope to envelope- overlapping the width of the flap.
2. Glue decorative paper to fronts and some of the insides of the envelope.
3. Attach a ribbon that to hang organizer, or keep it tied closed.
Juice Can Foot Stool
1.Cover 6 large juice cans by using 1 tube sock for each can. Sew ends closed
2.Tack cans together-5 around the outside- 1 in the center
3.Cut 2 pieces of cardboard and 1 piece of 1” foam the same flower shape as the cans
4.Cut a piece of fabric 46” x 8 ½ “- sew right sides together along the 8 ½ edge
5. Sew the large piece to the flower shaped piece- clip curves
6.Assemble- fabric not sewn, cardboard, cans, cardboard, foam then slip cover over everything.
7.Whip stitch bottom fabric in place.

Cut fins from old detergent bottles
Cut 2 ½”circles of wood- glue together to get about 2” thick-drill hole in the center
Cut angle slots in the wood.
Insert plastic fins into slots- glue in place.
Insert a long screw through the hole in the center of the wood
Paint fins and center wood piece desired colors
Attach screw to upright post, using washers or other spacers so it will spin in the wind.

Use that funky old shirt sitting on the bottom of your drawer and re-work it back into your life!
It’s super easy to do! All you’ll need is an old cotton t-shirt, some sewing pins and thread, scissors- and you’re
halfway there!
Cut off the sleeves and neck line to create your handles. Pin and sew the bottom portion up.
