The LoFric® Insti-Cath™ single use
urinary catheter is intended for
intermittent bladder instillation.
Hydrophilic surface coating:
Polyvinyl ­pyrrolidone (PVP) and
sodium chloride (NaCI).
Sterilisation and shelf Life
Catheter: Polyolefin-based elastomer (POBE).
All catheters are sterilised by
irradiation. Information about the
recommended best-­before date is
printed on the package.
Item package: Lacquered paper,
laminated film of polypropylene
(PP) and polyethylene (PE).
Package
30 catheters per carton.
4 cartons per shipping box.
Product Range
Luer-lock. A connector type
that is equally safe as it is wellknown by health care staff. The
closed system minimises the risk
of spillage and unintentional
exposure. Toxic medication is
held completely enclosed.
Catheter tube with Urotonic™
Surface Technology. Gives the
lowest friction during insertion
and withdrawal.

1. Wash your hands thoroughly.

2. Peel the packet open from above
the cap and fill with sterile water
or saline.
3. Remove the sticker at the top
of the pack to reveal the selfadhesive patch and attach the
pack to a dry surface.

5. Remove the LoFric Insti-Cath from
the packet.
6. Connect the syringe containing
the drug to the Luer-lock end of
the catheter and then perform the
instillation.

4. Soak the LoFric Insti-Cath for
30 seconds.
