Easily View Performance With A Graph
Rather than tediously reading through multiple pages of text for important system
events, BPWin’s Log Visualization feature allows you to quickly and easily view a
graphical representation of the events logged from your automated programming
system’s Black Box Log file.
How It Works
By downloading the latest version of BPWin, you can access the Log Visualization
feature via the BPWin Tools menu. When the Log Visualization Dialog opens, you will see
the current Black Box Log graph with a Data Series Selector, an Event List, and an Event
List Category Selector.
The graph will display color-coded data such as devices passed, actual DPH, potential
DPH, system efficiency, and system yield. This feature can even help you perform your
own trend analysis by comparing day-to-day or job-to-job graphs of your programmer’s
performance.
Along with the data, you can also control important events to be displayed on the graph
with the Event List Category Selector. Events include PNP diagnostic report, station
errors, media events, interlock open, all stations idol, job session paused and much
more. Each selected event is letter-designated to specify its order in the current view.
This allows you to quickly and easily pinpoint what set of circumstances contributed to
an unexpected event or other performance metric.
Take Action Immediately
Since log files are often quite large, manual searches can be time consuming and do not
always pinpoint the root cause of an unexpected event. With color-coded data and
letter-designated events, the Log Visualization feature can help you quickly and easily
determine what set of circumstances contributed to an unexpected event or other
performance metric so that you can take action immediately and get your machine
operating at peak performance.
