block 3 where we grow Viognier, and the 6 refers to block 6 where we grow Marsanne & Roussanne.
This is a blend from blocks 3&6, hence the name Spiral 36.
What Does the Number on the Red Wines Mean? The number indicates the amount of frost hours the
vines endured from bud break to harvest during that particular growing season. Think of it as a snap
shot into the vintage.
