Course Descriptions
Kindergarten Jump Start Camp
The kindergarten program is HANDS ON and designed to prepare your
child for a successful transition into kindergarten at a public school or
private school. Students will be exposed to beginning kindergarten
literacy and math skills as well as other skills that will help your student
be successful as they start school. This summer there will be a focus on
learning about plants!
Your student’s social and emotional development will also be a focus
of our jump start program.
1st- 5th Head Start Camps
Our head start programs are designed to strengthen the skills that
students learned the prior year, and to develop new skills that will give
them a confidence to begin the next year. We will have HANDS ON
ACTIVITIES, fun games, contests, and even a field trip to explore the
Salmon Creek Trail!
What to Expect
Each Monday, families will receive an outline of the objectives and
activities that will be taught that week. At the conclusion of the
program, each child will receive a report charting progress they have
made in the Jump/Head Start program.
