The students of Sandgate District State High School ‘Special Education Program’ supply SHARK Products to HART Sport.
These products consist of wooden paddles, balance beams, balance boards and shape frames – popular products in
Early Childhood settings.
The SHARK Products program is included in the Queensland Certificate I in Work Readiness program for students in
Years 10, 11 and 12 and has existed since 1997. It enables students to be involved in all levels of an enterprise from
ordering materials to the finishing stages. Through this real life work program, students gain skills in self confidence, in
ensuring that they are producing high quality products and in team work.
