Seventies Flashback at Senior/Parent Party
A fun filled evening was had by the seniors and
their parents at the senior/parent party held on
April 21st at Parkview Gym in Fort Pierre.
“Seventies” was the theme of the evening, with
attendees dressing in heat trapping polyester and
groovy floral patterns. Parents and students alike
took part in games, shared a wonderful meal, and

The last portion of the evening was bittersweet, with
the reading of the “wills” from parents to children,
and the viewing of a slideshow of their childhood

SC Wins Pop Tab Challenge!
Stanley County middle school students won the pop

Fine Arts Groups Perform
SC Sends Four to State Track
Once again, Stanley County showed their care and compassion when students held a talent show and silent auction on April 20th. Students performed with their chorus
and band groups, in small ensembles or solos acts, and
drama students also entertained the crowd with a dance.
Along with a silent auction, students raised $1495.33 in
support for two teachers facing medical expenses. We
would like to give our thanks to those who took part, and
to our community for their wonderful support.
Stanley County set 21 personal records on Thursday, May 16, at the
Region 6A Track Meet. Qualifiers for State were: Cody L.—100m
(breaking the school record), 200m, high jump, and triple jump;
Shelby G.—high jump and long jump; Cody R.—300m hurdles; and
Kelsey V.—800m
Coach Stotts said he was “extremely proud of how we competed”.
Athletes will compete at the State Meet on May 25th and 26th.
