Milk
An alternative lunch of 2 tbsp. peanut butter and 1 tbsp. jelly on two slices of wheat or white bread, 1 ounce cheese,
4 ounces fresh baby carrots, 4 ounces canned or fresh fruit and 8 ounces of variety of milk will be offered daily and
served as lunch on travel lunch days.
Stonington Grinder lunch may include choice of 1.5 ounces ham and .5 ounce of cheese, 1.5 ounces turkey and .5
ounce of cheese, or 2 ounces of tuna fish on a 2 grain torpedo roll, two slices of tomato and ½ cup shredded lettuce
and .5 ounce of either Cheetos, chips, Doritos or pretzels, ½ cup of three bean salad, milk and fruit.
Pizza lunch will include 1 slice of CN label pizza, 1 ½ cup romaine, carrot and cherry tomato salad offered with 2
tbsp of lite Italian or ranch dressing fruit and milk.
Hamburger on a bun lunch will include one - 2 ounce beef patty, one 2 grain eq. whole grain bun, one slice
American cheese, two slices of tomato, one lettuce leaf, ½ cup sweet potatoes, ½ cup of baked vegetarian beans,
condiments, fruit and milk.
Hot dog lunch will include one 2 - ounce beef frank, one 2 grain eq. whole grain hot dog roll, ½ potato wedges , ½
cup of baked vegetarian beans, condiments, fruit and milk.
Brunch for lunch will include 2 grain eq. of whole grain French toast sticks or2 grain eq. of whole grain pancakes , 2
ounce protein eq. ham, .75 cup sweet potatoes, 4 ounce 100% juice, and milk.
Toasted cheese lunch will include two ounces American cheese on two slices wheat or white bread, 8 ounces
chicken noodle soup, ½ cup of carrots, celery and cucumber slices, Two tbsp. Ranch dressing, fruit and milk.
Chicken patty day will include one cn label chicken patty on a 2 grain whole wheat bun, two slices of tomato, one
lettuce leaf, ½ cup sweet potatoes, condiments, fruit and milk.
