without being faded and crazed. Our Super Premium pigment qualifies UV Protection and is up to three t imes more
durab le than standard oil paints . SHERA Pa int is mould and mildew resistant easy to app ly, fast-dry, and free of
odour problem.
Decking Paint: Special durable decking paint is suitab le for floor, balconies, and stairs both interior and exterior.

SHERA Top Guard is spec ia lly formu lated for fibre cement offered exce llent protection, particu lar ly su ited for floor
painting or any high protect ion needed surface for both int erior and exterior works . SHERA Top Guard is resistant to
ac id, alka line, scratches and marks, UV rays and tropica l hum id weather, mould fungi and exce llent water resistant.
You can rest assured, because SHERA Top Guard is lead and mercury free, easy to app ly, and dries qu ick ly.

Surface Preparation
Old Fibre Cement: Powdery chalky surface and dete riorated loose old paint must be scraped and dete riorates. Clean up to remove
all dirt and allow enough time to dry completely.
New Fibre Cement : Clean up to remove all dust, contaminate. grease. dirt, fungus. and leave it to dry complete ly. Apply spackle to
cracks. holes and heavy paint ridges with SHERA Fix (Fibre Cement Adhesive). leave it for 30 minutes then sand
down the rough ridges with sandpaper number 320.
Painting System
Step 1: Apply Primer
Old Fibre Cement: Apply the first coat with transparent SHERA Extra Primer. Allow the paint to dry to rscoat. typically 1 - 2 hours.
Follow with monotone SHERA Primer (or SHERA Decking Prime r fo r floo r painting) and leave the paint to
dry around 1 - 2 hou rs.
New Fibre Cement : Apply the first coatof SHERA Primer (or SHERA DeckingPrimer for floor painting) and leave the paint ill dryaround 1 - 2 hours
Step 2: Apply Paint
Apply 100% acrylic SHERA Paint (or SHERA Decking Primer for floo r painting) about 2-3 times to match the desired colour. leave the
paint to dry around 1 - 2 hours. To avoid leaving marks in the paint or tracks of parallel ridges. use soft brush to lightly stroke the
brush in same direction along the whole lengt h of the Fibre Cement plank. Painting back and forth is not recommended. Meanwhile.
stir the paint at least once every 5 minutes throughout the painting.
Step 3: Apply Top Guard
For surfaces require extra protection from scratches and marks. apply SHERA Top Gua rd and leave to dry for 8-12 hours before use.
Caution
1. Primer should be applied to flooring thorough ly for excellent
moisture protection.
2. Transparent paint is not recommended to apply during high
tempe ratu re weathe r. Do not app ly any paint du ring
extreme humidity or excess moisture.
3. During painting. to stir paint regularly is essential in order
to prevent them from sett ling to the bottom
4. Keep paints away from children. do not swallow content,
and avoid contact with eyes.
