As you will no doubt be aware, the redevelopment of the Endeavour Energy Rydalmere Zone Substation has
been underway for some time now at 5 7 Wattle Street. This letter is to inform you that as of the 12th of June
Hansen Yuncken Pty Ltd will be taking over the construction activities on the site.

Throughout the project we will be distributing regular newsletters to inform you of the progress on site along
with notifications of upcoming activities which may have implications for you E.g. Temporary changed road
conditions or works outside of the normal hours. These being, 7.00am to 6.00pm Mon Fri and 8.00am to
1.00pm on Saturdays only.
As a major contractor we have a wealth of experience working within communities and we will do all in our
power to minimise any impact of the construction works on local residents and we will endeavour to keep you
informed as to the progress and activities on site.
Initial activities on site will include the construction of a basement level for the new building, this will require
large items of plant to undertake piling and excavation works for a period of up to 3 months from June
onwards. Due to the size of the plant and machinery required to undertake these works, we will at times be
requiring temporary traffic management systems within Wattle Street and surrounding streets to allow plant
to be delivered and removed from site. Unfortunately, these deliveries are required to be outside of normal
working hours, due to RTA travel restrictions. In order to minimise the impact this may have on local
residents, we will were possible arrange for multiple deliveries to take place simultaneously to minimise these
occurrences. A letter will be distributed prior to these deliveries detailing the required traffic management,
dates and times to all residence impacted by these works.
We understand that the construction activities will be of some inconvenience to you and for this we apologise
in advance, however we will do our best to minimise any inconvenience to residents throughout the duration
of the project.
