While the books in this set have been chosen to correspond with specific units and comprehension strategies, they are not intended to replace specific English-language read-aloud texts within the units. Rather, each book offers additional opportunities for teachers instructing in Spanish to support or extend the unit’s instruction in whatever way works best for them or their particular group of students.
