BPA Leadership Conference at Rock Springs
What Is BPA?
BPA stands for Business Professionals of America. BPA is a
national co-curricular career and technical organization for high
school, college and middle school students preparing for careers
in business and information technology.
Every year, BPA holds a State leadership conference at Rock
Springs 4-H Camp. Here, members can attend workshops to
brush up on their business skills, or participate in hands on experiences such as leadership adventure courses or horseback
riding. Mrs. Boggs, Hiawatha’s BPA sponsor, and Jake Wisdom
attended this years conference.
Jake Wisdom- “I had a great time! I enjoyed meeting new people,
and learning what BPA is about. I also built a foundation for my
state competition, and I am confident in my business skills. If I
place in the top 5th at state, I will qualify to go to nationals in
Reno Nevada.”
