GOODFELLOW COMMUNITY NEWS
Goodfellow Family Housing’s website has had a makeover! Whether you
are a current resident, incoming or outbound service member, check out
our new and improved website. The new look also makes it easier to
navigate through and find answers to any questions you may have. Of
course, you may also drop by our office or reach us by phone too.
Outdoor activities, sports and spring break with the kids will entice many of
us to venture outside as the weather gets warmer. Get outside for a walk, a
bicycle ride, a jog or at the very least take advantage of the longer days and
enjoy some sun while watching the kids play.
Did you know? Equinox is when day and
night are the same length. This happens
only twice a year, in March and in
September. The vernal equinox, which this
year is on March 20, is considered the first
day of spring.

Keep in Mind….
Owning a pet is a privilege but with that
privilege comes the responsibility of caring for
your pet. We would like to thank all our
residents who keep our community tidy by
cleaning up after your pets. We’re sure your
neighbors appreciate your consideration!
Please report any pet policy offenses to the
front office.
Reminder!
Goodfellow Family Housing would like to
remind current residents who may be PCSing
or moving of the required minimum 30 Day
Notice per your lease agreement. Orders are
NOT required at the time you place your
written notice in our office. If you have any
questions regarding your Notice to Vacate,
please call the front office.

Spring Cleaning Safety Tips
Ready to tackle a few spring cleaning chores?
Don’t try to do it all in one day. It’s hard to stay safe when you’re tired or
rushed.
Lift properly - keep your back straight and lift with your legs. Or find a buddy!
Be cautious using ladders and step stools.
Follow cleaning product safety information. Read the label and use as
directed.
Keep cleaning buckets out of reach. A child can drown in a few inches of
liquid.
Clear away clutter to avoid trip hazards.
Check your fire extinguisher.
