Topic 1 focuses on deepening the understanding of place value in both whole numbers and decimals. Students will need to understand and be able to apply
knowledge on the following topics: exponents and powers of 10, place-value relationships, using place value to read and write whole numbers and decimals,
and comparing and rounding decimals.
