Golden Lager 3.8% ABV
A crisp lager with hints of caramel, cold fermented
below 10°C. There is a slight honey note on the nose
and a favourite for the summer months.
Stable Weiss 4% ABV
A top fermented white beer which is characterised by
its notes of banana and citrus on the nose. A light and
easy drinking beer.
Irish Red Ale 4% ABV
Our deep-reddish beer has remained unchanged since
the first batch. It is nitrogen gassed and poured from a
sparkler draught tap that gives it a creamy texture.
Wonderfully balanced between bitter and sweet with
notes of toffee.
IPA 4.5% ABV
The Indian Pale Ale is created with a melody of hops
that makes it both bitter and fruity. It has a flowery and
spicy, citrus-like quality that is almost grapefruit likes
that provides a taste overload.
Ginger Ale 2% ABV
Traditional ginger ale made with fresh, whole ginger
and other fresh ingredients. It is low in sugar making it
refreshing without trying too hard.
Gingerberry 2% ABV
Traditional ginger beer that’s infused with strawberries
and a hint of lemon. The almost luminescent pink is
wonderful to look at but better when drunk. Release
the inner girl!
Honey Porter 4.2% ABV
A dark and sumptuous porter that produces a melody
of coffee, roasted grains and honey tones on the palate.
A soft and nourishing beer that satisfies from the very
first sip.
Premium Lager - 4.0% ABV
More bitter than a lager with a refreshing and dry finish.
A pilsner in every way.
Blind Dog - 3% - 20% ABV
This is our surprise of the month or week or day beer.

leave them on the skins for a few minutes (a few minutes less than we did last year, to create an even
lighter colour), then to preserve the delicate floral (jasmine) and fruit (raspberry) aromas, we bottle it as
young as possible and send it to you to enjoy in its prime

This is an easy drinking wine made by Cederberg's David Nieuwhoudt. It is dry, with typical

Black Horse was founded in 1995 by Bernard & Karen Botha. The name Black Horse originated from the original
Friesian Stud farm. Today you can still see a few of the pureblood Friesians down on the meadows.
Black Horse proud itself on making cross over craft beer, that appeal to all beer-drinkers. Our Brew Master, Nuschka
Botha, started with Black Horse Brewery in 2010 as the youngest craft brewer in South Africa.
Our Kitchen is run by the world renowned Chef Renior and you can see him bustling around the restaurant on busy
