This show will be professionally photographed and professionally video recorded. Other com­mercial
photography or video recording or photography or video recording from a tripod-mounted camera, or
any photographing or video recording of entire classes of dogs will NOT be permitted.
Submission of an entry form and/or physical presence on the show grounds shall constitute both
implied and real consent for both the handler and their dog to be photographed and/or video recorded.
All rights to televise, videotape, advertise, photograph, promote and otherwise exploit these events
are vested in the FBDCA or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by
the club. All persons and animals on the Show Grounds, at any time while these events are in progress,
do by attending these events or participating therein, grant the club the right to photograph, televise,
video tape, audio tape or otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release
or consent. Commercial photography and video recording, photography and video recording from a
tripod mounted camera, or any photographing or video recording of entire classes of dogs shall require
permission in advance, and in writing from the club. Photographs and/or video recordings taken for any
reason other than personal use are strictly prohibited.
ROUTES TO THE SHOW
From Arizona: Take I-10 W. Take US-60 W, US-93, I-40 W and US-93 N to 215 W. Use the right 2 lanes
to take exit 61 for I-215 W. Take exit 10 (NV-171) toward Sunset Rd/McCarran Airport. Continue on
NV-171. Use the right 2 lanes to turn slightly right to stay on NV-171. Left onto E Harmon Ave. Alexis
Park will be on the Left.
From California: Take I-15 N. Take exit 33 for NV-160/Blue Diamond Rd toward Interstate 215 E/County
Rd 215, Clark County 215 W. Keep left, follow signs for I-215 E/McCarran Airport/Henderson and
merge onto I-215 E. Take exit 10 (NV-171) from I-215 E. Continue on NV-171. Use the right 2 lanes to
turn slightly right to stay on NV-171. Left onto E Harmon Ave. Alexis Park will be on the Left.
From North of Las Vegas: Take I-15 S. Take exit 38B toward Flamingo Rd E. Continue on W Flamingo

HEALTH EDUCATION SEMINAR
There will be a Health Education Discussion Panel - Dr. Greg Lawson, DVM, PhD, CACLAM, Director
of the Office for Laboratory Animal Care, UC Berkeley, FBDCA Member Veterinarian (TBD), and Calvin
Dykes (Health and Genetics Chairperson) will serve as the moderator. The panel will address questions
on specific health tests, why health test, OFA, Immunology, minimal vaccination protocols, allergy
issues, and health related diet questions. Please plan to attend on Wednesday, October 19th sometime
after FBDCA Independent Specialty Best of Breed competition. The seminar/discussion panel will have a
duration of approximately 2 hours.

Check-in time: 4:00 pm A non-refundable $75.00 pet fee applies per suite reserved for all attendees
traveling with dogs. All dogs MUST be crated when occupant is not in suite. All dogs MUST be on leash
on the hotel grounds. No dogs in the restaurants or eating areas. Walk dogs in the designated areas only.

LOCATION: Alexis Park All Suite Resort is located one mile east of the Strip and two blocks west of
Paradise Road on Harmon Avenue.
Directions from McCarran International Airport: Head North on Swenson Street. Turn left onto East
Harmon Avenue. Resort will be on the left.
Directions from the Strip: Resort is located one mile east of the Strip on Harmon Avenue. Harmon
Avenue is located just south of Planet Hollywood. Take Harmon Avenue east and Resort will be on the right.
ALEXIS RESORT/HOTEL SHUTTLE: Complimentary airport/hotel shuttle (702-796-3300). Please call the
hotel AFTER landing for pick-up. The Hotel Shuttle will ONLY pick-up from Terminal #1. Tell Operator that
you are requesting pick up at Terminal #1. Based upon availability, the shuttle will be provided 7 days a
week from 7AM-10:30PM.
For Terminal #1 (Southwest, Spirit, Delta, Allegiant, American Airlines), the shuttle will pick-up and
drop-off at the zero level of baggage claim.
Terminal #3 (All international carriers, plus Alaska, United, Jet Blue, Hawaiian, Frontier, Virgin
America, Sun Country): The Hotel Shuttle cannot pick-up from Terminal #3. If you arrive at Terminal #3,
a Courtesy Inter-Terminal Shuttle service is available to transport you between Terminal #1 and Terminal
#3. The Inter-Terminal shuttle bus stop is located on Level Zero in the center of the curb. Just look for the
McCarran logo and soon you’ll be on your way. Service is provided approximately every 12-15 minutes.
Once you are at the Terminal #1 Shuttle location, call (702) 796-3300 for the Hotel Shuttle.
PLEASE NOTE: The Resort does NOT take advance pick-up appointments due to all the delays and
issues at the airport – no consistent times.
Departures from the hotel is on the hour every hour (13 seats only). Guest sign up for departure time
24 hours before leaving the hotel.
RV DRY CAMPING AT ALEXIS PARK RESORT
RV parking is adjacent to the Alexis Park Resort.
• Daily Parking (Stay) Rate of $100.00/night if unreserved, including power.
• RV guests are required to check in at front desk immediately after parking their RV.
• Guests will sign a parking instruction sheet, liability waiver and be given a special parking pass/flyer
along with limited type of hotel guest room key which will provide access to the Hotel’s facilities.
This key will grant you access to all resort facilities including the Resort Fitness Center which has full
service locker rooms available for showering and restroom use.
• RV will be parked on dirt. Bring ground cover.
• Water and dump facilities are not available on the site; please plan accordingly. Arrangements will be
made for a provider to dump black/gray water and provide fresh water fill, provided there is enough
interest. There will be a cost for this separate from the parking fee.
• Include a self-addressed envelope with your parking reservation form (located on website) to receive
your confirmation and directions to the RV parking area.
• We ask that an Emergency Contact Number be posted on your dashboard in case of an emergency.
• Any generators used to power the RV’s would be required to be turned off nightly by 11:00 PM and
turned back on after 7:00 AM each day of stay due to noise in compliance with Las Vegas’ noise
ordinance.

Wednesday, October 19, 2016 – 7:00 pm
You’re invited to our 13th Anniversary showcasing the top ranked
French Bulldogs in America of 2015 and 2016.
The Top 20 Committee will honor these top Frenchies and showcase the
commitment of their breeders, owners, and handlers.
This event is an opportunity to view the current reigning champions,
a chance to visit with friends, and an opportunity to study the breed.
This 2016 Showcase will be non-competitive.
A new and improved Top Twenty will again offer competition in 2017.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS – ALL EVENTS
• Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by
the Judge or Veterinarian, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee, or because
it has been entered incorrectly. There is no refund for DUPLICATE ENTRIES or OVERPAYMENTS.
If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is
impossible to open, or to complete the Show NO REFUND will be made. To find out about any AKC
event cancellations call the AKC Event Cancellation Hotline 877-252-3229.
•Please note: Any hotel or motel listed in the premium list is subject to Event Committee Rules. We
expect our exhibitors to be responsible guests. A report that an exhibitor at this show has abused
hotel or motel property during this weekend may result in disciplinary action. Clubs reserve the right
to decline future entries from the offending party in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 11,
Section 15 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows.
• Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging.
Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the Clubs nor its Superintendent/Show Secretary will be
responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class
Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible
for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings.
•Only dogs eligible for these shows will be admitted into the show area. There is no provision for
unentered dogs.
•LOSS OR DAMAGE – The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs
and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of any accident or
misfortune, to either dogs or exhibitors participating in these Shows. The welfare of an Exhibitor’s
child is assumed to be the responsibility of the Exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that Exhibitors will
exercise control and restraint over their children.
• Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians’ recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal
and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.
• ALL RIGHTS TO TELEVISE, VIDEOTAPE, ADVERTISE, PHOTOGRAPH, PROMOTE or otherwise exploit
this event are vested in the Clubs, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made

NOTE: BECAUSE OF TRAVEL TIME TO THE SHOW SITE, TRANSFER OF ENTRIES AND REQUESTS FOR
REFUNDS FOR PUBLISHED JUDGE CHANGES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN THE OFFICE AFTER 12:00
NOON ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14. AFTER THIS TIME, YOU MUST CONTACT THE SUPERINTENDENT ON
SITE.
CONFORMATION: Dogs may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed or
Variety competition, provided this transfer is presented to the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior
to the scheduled start of any regular conformation judging at the show.
JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP: Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition, if a win
in Novice leads to a Best Junior with competition present it will count as one win towards moving to
Open, after closing of entries for a show are required to transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the
Open Class by notifying the Superintendent at least one-half hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior
Showmanship juding at the show. Correction may be made from one age division to another, provided
this transfer must be made to the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the judging of any Junior
Showmanship class at the show.
OBEDIENCE OR RALLY: A dog who has earned a title after entries have closed may be moved to another
class in a future trial, provided the transfer request is presented to the Superintendent in writing at least
30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. Move-ups may be approved provided the class and judge are
available and the class has not reached its limit.
