General
The Foundation was incorporated on July 19,
1995 under the laws of Manitoba and is a public foundation. The Foundation is a registered
charity under the Income Tax Act and all donations to the endowment fund are eligible for a
charitable tax receipt.
This is an overview of the Beautiful Plains Community Foundation for 2014. We had another great year and we welcomed new Board members,
Kate Jackman-Atkinson and Trevor Lizotte. This was a busy year as the Foundation initiated a new fundraiser, the NHL Hat Auction. We also
had a Time and Talent Auction and a Spring Celebration Dinner and Dance which were well supported by the community. In September we welcomed Brenda Kryschuk as our new Executive Director. She and her family are long time residents of Neepawa. In October we worked with her
for our 24 Hour Giving Challenge which was extremely successful as we raised $10,344.11 with The Winnipeg Foundation contributing an additional $ 2,000 . These funds went into the Community Fund. This fund is made up of donations from individuals, businesses or corporations
that allow the Foundation to determine how the monies will be dispersed. The BPCF also has Designated Funds which are donations from individuals, businesses or corporations who direct how the funds will be dispersed. Another funding opportunity is that of the Decade Club. We are
hoping for 100 people to commit $100 a year for 10 years. To date we have 38 members. Thanks to all in the community who have donated and
supported the Foundation in any way. We look forward to your support in the coming years.

Decade Club
In 2014 The Board of the Foundation
continued its Decade Club initiative.
Their goal is to have 100 donors
pledge $100/ year for ten years. This
only amounts to $8.33/ month or
$0.27/day. The Foundation‘s Community Fund will be increased by
$100,000 at the completion of this
project. We encourage you to join the
Decade Club. A larger Community
Fund means that more money can go
back to the Community in the form of
grants.
