Solar Powered Decorative Lights 1) Attach plastic cylinder (c) onto ground stake (b) by firmly pressing into place. (a) (d) (b) 2) Remove the base plate (d) by turning counterclockwise and lifting. Turn the unit On. You will only need to do this once, as the photosensitive cell will turn the lights on and off automatically. There are two settings on the back of the solar cell: Flash and Solid. Setting the switch to Flash will make the bulbs flash randomly, while setting it to Solid will keep the bulbs a solid white. 3) Attach stake to baseplate by pressing firmly. Reattach baseplate / stake by turning clockwise. 4) Screw base onto the solar unit by placing the connected stake piece onto the solar panel and twisting clockwise. 5) Place entire unit in a place with lots of sunlight. Direct sunlight will yield the best results. 6) String the lights as you would any other decorative string lights , and sit back and enjoy your new Solar Powered Decorative Lights. IMPORTANT: · The light string solar panel MUST be placed in a well-lit location for maximum sunlight absorption · Anything that shades this panel will affect the brightness and lighting duration · Six hours of light exposure are required for adequate illumination · Charge battery for at least 8 hours before first use.
