MACU Celebrates Principled Banking

October 31st to get a treat!
On October 20, 2016, Menominee Area Credit Union
(MACU) will, along with more than 56,000 credit unions
around the world, celebrate International Credit Union
Day (ICU Day), and the foundational principles that make
credit unions unique.
On October 20th and 21st, stop in for refreshments to
celebrate International Credit Union Day. You can enter
your name in the drawing for a chance to win a prize.
Three names will be drawn and entered into the U.P.
Chapter drawing with other U.P. Chapter credit unions.
Each participating credit union is guaranteed at least one
$10.00 prize winner. In addition, MACU will draw one
name for a prize.
The prizes include:
 1 grand prize of $500.00 deposited into the winning
member’s credit union account
 20 second place prizes of $25.00
 40 third place prizes of $10.00
 One $25 gift card given by MACU
Join MACU in celebrating a movement that concerns
itself with the financial success of all people.

Beginning mid-November, we will have Bill Pay
available for our members. We will announce how
to sign up when we are closer to launching.
Credit Cards Coming Soon!
Beginning mid-October, we will be offering credit
cards for our members. This service will
accommodate members trying to establish credit,
as well as members with existing credit.
No trick to this. We’re offering a treat for you.
In October we are offering a Spooktacular Signature Loan Special!

Starting Monday, November 7th we will have coloring
sheets available for children ages 3-12.
All bank charges we receive will be passed on to the member, plus
special handling charges. Abuse of more than three (3) overdrafts
within one month could result in closing the share draft account.
If you would like a club account stop in and we can get

Visa Gift Cards
We have Visa Gift Cards available for only $3.00 per
card. You pay the amount you want on the card, plus
$3.00, and we will activate it. Visa Gift Cards are
great for gifts. Individuals can use them wherever
Visa cards are accepted.
All kids who return their masterpieces will receive a
treat. Coloring sheets are due by Friday, December
2nd. At our Holiday Open House on Thursday,
December 15th members can vote on their favorites
in each age category.
Statement will not include cancelled checks. Share draft accounts
are separate from share account.
*No fee if member maintains $50.00 in an account or has a loan
balance
**Dormant Fee will only be imposed for memberships that meet
the following criteria:
-The member is 19 years of age or older
-The member has not conducted account activity for at least 12
months
-The combined balance in all accounts for the membership is less
than $250.00
