Purpose:
To see the transfer of a proton in an acid base pair
Materials:
Acid Base Cards
Bingo chips
Procedure:
Obtain a set of cards and Bingo chips.
Lay out the cards according to the data table below. Look at the number of hydrogens on each formula card and count
out that number of bingo chips. Place a bingo chip for each hydrogen atom on the acid and base. Determine the
conjugate base and conjugate acid for the reaction. Lay down these cards and transfer the correct number of chips to
the conjugate side.
