PRAYER CHALLENGE 7:14 “I f my people . . . will pray” “If my people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore (heal) their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 1. Every day, at 7:14 AM and/or 7:14 PM, stop to pray for a spiritual awakening in all of its dimensions. 2. For the next 50 days (Easter to Pentecost Sunday), stop what you are doing at that time and pray through 2 Chronicles 7:14. “I will hear from heaven and forgive their sins…” “I f my people . . . will humble themselves” Pray that we would repent of the spiritual coldness, indifference, prayerlessness, and disobedience in our lives and in our churches. Seek for authentic humility and dependence on God to mark our way forward. Pray for the healing of marriages and families. Pray for a return to holiness in the midst of the immoral influence upon so many including within our church. Pray for our youth not to be influenced by the culture. Pray for the salvation of family members and friends. Pray for the boldness to live faithfully and the courage to witness to those who are not serving Christ. Pray for physical healing for the sick. Pray for a spiritual revival that will touch and change the lives of our church. Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that will convict of sin and to bring people closer to God. Pray for God’s hand of guidance to be on our nation’s leaders at national, state, and local levels. Pray that our nation will humble itself before God. Pray that America would become a nation of prayer. Pray that America would become a nation that seeks the face of God. Pray that America would turn from its wicked ways. I don't believe I need to elaborate. Pray that God will hear us. Pray that God will forgive our sins. Pray that God will heal our land. Prayer allows us to hear the voice of God and receive direction and correction that will enable us to become powerful spiritual warriors. Prayer acknowledges God; then He can direct our paths and order our steps. Prayer builds a hedge of protection around us. It gives us power and dominion over the works of the enemy. Prayer brings us into obedience with the word of God. Prayer allows us to be delivered from those things which would hinder our walk with God. Prayer allows us to put God in remembrance of His promises and obtain supernatural power to overcome and overthrown the enemy. Prayers allow us to obtain the blessing of God in our lives and those around us. The nation that prays is blessed. The nation that prays is protected (Psalms 33:16). A nation that prays is one that recognizes their need for God and repents of its sin in order to receive healing for the land.
