Because of your support over the last year alone:
-We fought successfully to maintain KnowlesNelson Stewardship Program funding at $12
million annually available for land trusts to
protect the special places that make Wisconsin
such a wonderful place to live, work, and play – for
everyone. Protecting these special places supports
tourism and quality of life in our communities,
beneficial to business and job growth.
-Over 700 staff and volunteers in the land trust
community received education through training,
workshops, mentoring and advising. These staff
and volunteers do the on-the-ground, daily work
to ensure the protection of our trails, forests, scenic
vistas, family farms, and urban green spaces.
