KFC BURNOUTS
The KFC Burnout Competition is one of the major attractions of Motorvation 30.
There is $10,000 to win for the best Blown burnout and $2000 to win for the best NA
Open burnout.
FRIDAY NIGHT - POUND THE GROUND BURNOUTS
Friday night is just for fun with a touch of competition.
•
The top three NA Open burnouts will get to head straight to the Sunday finals in a
wildcard spot.
SATURDAY AFTERNOON - NA OPEN QUALIFYING
The Top 12 NA Open competitors getting to go for the big money in the Sunday finals.
Combined with the three competitors from Pound The Ground - 15 competitors (plus
reserves) go through to Sunday’s final.
SATURDAY EVENING - BLOWN QUALIFYING
The Top 15 Blown Competitors (plus
reserves) go through to Sunday’s
finals.

The winner of the previous Burnout major event has the option to go last in their respective class.
Any car that has scored poorly in Presentation at their previous burnout event will go at the front of the run order.
For NA Open Class, where sessions are split into two or more, those competitors who have scored higher in the previous
season’s championship. Also, competitors who have featured in the Top 10 at other notable events may also go into the
last session.

SCRUTINEERING:
• Car must be scrutineered prior to
competition.
• TIME: Friday, 5pm to 8pm
SAFETY GEAR:
• Please refer to Entrants Guide for
required safety gear:
• Entrants for all driving events must
have helmet, long sleeves, long
pants, shoes and socks and be
wearing their seatbelt.
ORDER NUMBER:
• Please pick up your order number
stickers from scrutineering (or scrutineering may use white pen markers).
• To be placed on left-hand side of front windscreen.
• Order number stickers (or hand written numbers) to be removed immediately after Pound
The Ground Competition as it may conflict with other events.
COMPETITION:
• At approximately 8:15pm we shall commence the competition.
STAGING LANES:
• Session 1: In Staging Lane 6 at 8:05pm
• Session 2: In Staging Lane 5 at 8:35pm
• Session 3: In Staging Lane 4 at 9:05pm
NO-SHOWS:
Some (new) competitors have accidentally entered the Pound The Ground burnouts. Whilst lining
up in staging lanes, if you cannot find the competitor you are meant to be behind, please talk to
Staging Lane officials. That competitor you are looking for may be a ‘no show’.
