Next Generation Enfamil® Premature Nutrition
Designed to meet 2014 Global Expert Recommendations
NEW FORMULATION!
Introducing the latest advancement
in premature nutrition
Next Generation Enfamil Premature Nutrition portfolio is designed
to meet the 2014 Global Expert Recommendations1 for all labeled
nutrients, including:
• Protein—Early nutritional management with adequate levels of protein helps
address extrauterine growth failure, supports fat-free mass growth before
discharge and is associated with neurological outcomes
•DHA—Especially important for premature infants, who may have low DHA
status, as their abrupt birth interrupts the placental transfer, which mostly
occurs in the last few weeks of gestation. DHA helps support brain and eye
development in premature infants
•Vitamin D—Important for maintaining proper blood calcium and
phosphorus concentrations, so it plays an essential role in bone
mineralization and cellular processes
