If you watched the movie, write 2 more sentences comparing it to the book. SAMPLE Where the Heart Is by Billie Letts Yes 5/5 This book is amazing. My favorite part is when Novalee finally decides on a name for her baby, Americus. The movie was enjoyable as a stand alone, but it did not quite do the book justice. There were several missing parts and the emotion evoked in the novel just wasn’t there. June - Destination Unknown Title Rating Write 2 sentences to review the book. Then, write one sentence answering this question: How does this book compare to the last trip you took? SAMPLE Going Bovine by Libba Bray 4/5 The book was enjoyable. I gave it 4 stars because it wasn’t as gripping as it could have been. The trip taken in this story is way more fascinating and magical than the last road trip I took. July - Believe the Unbelievable Title Rating Write 2 sentences to review the book. Write one sentence describing the type of fantasy this book encapsulates. SAMPLE Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern 5/5 When reading Night Circus, I could feel the smoke and mirrors the author created. Just when you think you have it figured out, the rug is pulled out from under you. This book is a fantasy that surrounds a magical circus. August - Creepy, Chilling, & Frightful Title Rating Write 2 sentences to review the book. Write one sentence describing the genre. SAMPLE The Dead Girls of Hysteria Hall by Katie Alender 4/5 I enjoyed this book. It was creepy, but not too creepy. This book contains ghosts and a poltergeist that haunt an insane asylum which leads me to believe it is a paranormal haunting. 2
