We’re a small café, but we are trying to make a PIG difference.
Here at Cuckoo Callay we are bringing home the bacon by encouraging Australians to look
for the Australian Pork logo and support local farmers who raise happy, healthy piggies.
All our pork is sourced from multi-award winning Bangalow Sweet Pork, which only uses small family
farms and focuses equally on animal welfare and sustainable agricultural practices.
We hope you’ll be happy as a pig in mud pigging out on our pork-tacular menu!

Cold drip
Prefer your coffee cold? Did you know that when coffee cools it becomes more acidic, affecting the f!avour? The cold
drip method of brewing avoids using heat, reducing the acidity. We drip cold water on to lighter roasted beans drop by
drop for up to 10 hours to produce a coffee which is less bitter and contains a deep caramel and chocolaty flavour.
Chemex (served after 10am)
Chemex uses the infusion method resulting in a slower brew and a richer cup of coffee. The beautiful glass device can
make up to 6 cups of coffee with no sediment and a lighter body. It takes a bit of time so make sure you’ve a while
before your train leaves!
Moccamaster
Direct from Holland, the Moccamaster uses a copper element to reach the correct temperatue quickly, keeping it
consistent throughout the brewing cycle. An exact 6 minute brew time perfectly extracts all the flavours and delicate
nuances from the coffee grounds.
