Detailed Biography
Sheila Will is Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Walton Capital Management Inc. (“WCMI”).
In this role, Sheila is responsible for the financial operations of WCMI in Canada.
Sheila joined the Walton team in 2007 when the Walton Group of Companies acquired mutual fund dealer Partners In
Planning Financial Services Group, where she was Chief Financial Officer. In 2009, Sheila was promoted to Walton’s Calgary
headquarters, where she played a crucial role in Walton’s successful sale of Partners In Planning and Titan Funds to
Investment Planning Counsel, which is a unit of Investors Group and Power Corporation.
Prior to joining the Walton Group of Companies, Sheila was Chief Financial Officer with Partners In Planning (“PIP”) for 10
years, and was Chief Financial Officer of PIP affiliate Titan Funds Incorporated for two years. In these roles, she played an
instrumental role in growing the group’s assets under administration in addition to overseeing all financial and accounting
operations.
With more than 20 years’ experience in financial leadership, Sheila’s expertise includes due diligence, financial analysis and
the successful integration of mergers and acquisitions. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Sheila held senior
positions in the potash industry overseeing accounting and finance departments for 11 years, including two years in Chicago,
Illinois as part of a team involved in selection, development and training for a global ERP project.
Sheila graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Administration in 1986. She obtained her Chartered
Accountant designation in 1988, and is currently a member of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and of
Saskatchewan. She has successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course, the Partners Director Officers Course and
the CFO Qualifying Exams offered by the Canadian Securities Institute.
