Welleclipsesarelikeyousaid,soveryimportantandtheancientsactuallyused
eclipsesasoneoftheirmainforecastingtechniques.Asyouknow,theycould
tellwhentheNilewasgoingtofloodandallthesedifferentthingsanditwasall
basedoneclipsesbecausethatwaseasyforthemtocalculatebecauseifthey
wereintherightgeographicallocation,theycouldactuallyseethem.Let'stalk
justalittlebitaboutthegeometryofaneclipse.Aneclipseisaconjunctionor
oppositionofthesunormoon.Nowthinkaboutthisforaminute,what
happens.WeliveontheEarthandthesunisoutthereinspace.Whenthe
moonmovesbetweentheearthandthesun,thatisanewmoonandthat's
whenwegetasolareclipse.Whenthemoonmovestotheothersideofthe
earth,towardstherestofthesolarsystemandtheearthisbetweenthesunand
themoon,thatisalunareclipseandthatisafullmoon.Whathappensatlunar
eclipsesisweontheearthfeeltornindifferentdirections.Wehavethegravity
ofthemoonononesideandthenwehavethisbigobjectcalledthesunthat
alsohasagravitationalforceonus,ontheotherside.

That'swhyfullmoonsandlunareclipsesunfortunately,thingshappenthatare
often,Imeanthey'regoodandbad,right,becausetherecanbealotof
violence,therecanbedomesticviolence,ortherecanbenationalviolenceor
internationalviolencebutonapositiveside,ifthereisafullmoonoralunar
eclipse,andthere'saspontaneousgatheringwherepeoplesay,"Whydon'twe
gettogethertonight?"Itcanbethemostfuneventyoueverhad.Again,full
moons,lunareclipses,they'renotnecessarilynegativebutthey'revery
spontaneousandunpredictableandtheytendtogoindifferentdirections.
Nowforaneclipsetooccur,wehavetohavethese3factors.Wehavetohave
theconjunctionoroppositionofthesunormoon,whichImentionedearlier
wasanewmoonorafullmoon.Theyalsomustbeparallelorcontra-parallel
within1degree.That'simportant.1degree.That'sprettytight.Andthenewor
thefullmoonmustbewithin18degrees,31minutesofthemoon'snodes.Ifall
thosefactorsarepresent,wegetaneclipse.
Solareclipsesandlunareclipsestomeareofequalimportance.Some
astrologersputalittlemorefocusonthesolareclipse.Ifindthattheybothwork
effectivelywhenlookingatanatalchartandforecasting.Asolareclipseisatime
ofnewbeginningandchange.It'skindoflikeabeaconoflightanditpointsthe
wayinacertaindirection.Italsohasawildcardeffectsoit'salmostlikeitcould
surpriseyou.Thelunareclipseontheotherhand,isatimeoffruition.Itcould
beanendingofsomething,acompletionofsomething.Itcouldalsobring
unexpectedchaostoaperson'slife.Iwouldjustsaytoyouthatyoushould
neverunderestimatethepowerofatotallunareclipse.Notalleclipsesaretotal.
Thetotalonescanbequitedramatic.Youalsohavetoseemanythingsabout
wheretheyfallinyourchartandwe'lltalkaboutthatinaminute.
Whenatotallunareclipsewillfallonaplanetoranangleinyourchart,many
monumentalchangeshappeninyourlifeandtheycouldbeunexpected.The
reasonthelunareclipseissopowerfultomeisthatitcanonlyoccurwhenthe
fullmooniswithin0degreesto3degrees,45minutesofeitherofthenodes,
whereasasolareclipsehasalargerorbupinthesky.It's0degreesto9degrees,
55minutesofeithernode.Ifyouunderstandthedifference,thelunareclipseis
muchclosertothelunarnode.Thesolareclipsehasamuchwiderorb.That's
whyweshouldneverunderestimatethepowerofatotallunareclipse.Because
Iknowwedon'thavealotoftimetotalkabouteverythingabouteclipses,butI
willtellyouthatyouhavetoallowanorbofabout3degreesinyournatalchart
toanatalplanettoanangletoanyotherpointinyourchartthatforyouis
important,likeChiron,oneoftheasteroids,whateveritisthatyouuse
individuallythatyoufeelisimportantthenyoushouldlookataneclipsetoseeif
itisclosetothatpointinyourchartandifitis,ithasmuchmoreofanimpact
onyouandonyourlife.

That'sanotherthing,whatdoesaneclipsebring?Well,it'sprettysimple.An
eclipseisgoingtobringforthemostpartlifestylechangestoanybodyifitis
veryclosetoyourbirthdaybecausethenitwouldbeconjunctyoursun,rightso
thatmakes,thatseemstobeperfectlylogicalforpeople.Also,bylifestyle
changes,thesolareclipseespecially,canbringchanges.Let'ssayyoursunisin
the4thhouse,you'rebornnearmidnight.Thesolareclipseisonyoursuninthe
4th,youmightmove.Buthere'sthethingaboutaneclipsethatpeopledon't
realize.Theeventcouldhappen6monthsaheadoftime.Itdoesn'talways
happenonthedayoftheeclipse.Infact,itrarelyhappensonthedayofan
eclipse.Itcanhappen3monthsearlierwhenthesunmovesintosquarethe
pointoftheeclipseorsomeotherplanetstriggeritbecausethey'resquaringit
orconjoiningthepointoftheeclipse.
Ifthereisaneclipseonyourbirthday,you'regoingtohavelifestylechanges
basedonthehouseposition,wellifit'sthesun,reallyanyplanet,soit'sthe
housepositionandalsotheaspectsthatthatnatalplanetmakestotheother
planetsinyourchart.Thethingabouteclipsesisconjunctions,oppositionsand
squaresarethemostimportant.Let'ssaywehaveanupcomingeclipse,which
wedo,whichisat18degreesofPisces.ThatisMarch9,2016andbytheway,
thatisatotalsolareclipse.Ifyouhaveabirthdaywithin2or3daysofMarch9,
youmighthavealreadyexperiencedsomeofthesechangesbecausethat'sabig
one.TherewasanothersolareclipseSeptember13of2015,lastyearthatwas
at20degreesofVirgosoitmighthavealreadytriggeredaneventforyou.But

Let'ssaythatyouhaveaplanetat18degreesofGemini,whichsquaresthat
point.Thesquaresineclipsesareimportant.Eventhoughyoudon'thavea
planetat18Pisces,youhavesomethingat18,Gemini,18Sagittarius,18Virgo,
within3degreeorbofthosedegrees.Ifthat'sthecasethentheeclipsewill
squarethatplanetinyourchartandwhatIwanttosaytoyouisthe
conjunctionsandoppositionsarethestrongestineclipsesinyournatalchartifit
conjoinsaplanetoropposesaplanetorsquaresaplanet.Again,asmallorbof3
degrees.Theclosertheorb,thestrongertheimpact.Ifyouhaveaplanetat18
Pisces,andyouknowthatthere'saneclipsecomingandit'sgoingtotryinyour
planet,they'renotthateffective,they'renotthatsignificant.They'realmost
uselesstosomedegreebecauseeclipsesworkontheconjunctionsand
oppositionsofthesunormoonsoyouwant,inyournatalchart,aconjunction
oroppositionorasquareandthenyouwillfeeltheimpactoftheeclipse.

orbisabitwiderthan3degrees.Whyisthat?Becauseasanexample,inthe
year2016,there'sasolareclipseMarch9at18degreesofPisces,56minutes,
thenonSeptember16thesameyear,2016,there'saneclipseat24Pisces.Itisa
lunarsoyoumighthaveeclipsesomewhereinbetweenthose2thatwouldstill
beveryimpactfultoyourlife.That'stheonlywaywe'dallowawiderorb
becausethey'reclusteredtogethersotheymightbeclosertoonethanthe
otherbutyou'restillfeelingitthen.Inatypicalyear,thereareusually,usually4
eclipsesbuttherecouldbeasmanyas5or6inanygivenyear.Isn'tthat...to
me,thisisfascinating.
ThenItalkaboutbirthdayeclipseswhentheeclipsefallsonyourbirthdayyou
canbeassuredthere'sgoingtobeachangeinyourlife.Ifitfallsinyour7th
house,it'sachangeinarelationship.That'swhereyoursunwouldbe.These
changescouldbethings,they'renotnecessarilynegativenowbuttheywill
changethedirectionofyourlife.Theycanbechangeslikeamarriage,adivorce,
you'rerelocating,you'removing,yougetanewjob,youhaveababy,something
significantthatreallydoesimpactyourlifeandthat'smorelikelywithasolar
eclipse,right.
Alunareclipseislikelytocatchyouoffguard,bringasituationtoaconclusion
thatmaybeyou'renotreadyforit.Itcanalsohighlightyourpersonalweakness
andyourvulnerability.Itbringswhatishiddentothesurface.Let'ssaythere'sa
lunareclipseonyourMercuryinyour6thhouseofwork.Youcouldloseyour
joboryoucould...somebodybuysthecompanyandyouloseyourjobacouple
monthslater.Again,that'salittlemoreofanunexpectedthingwhereasthe
solareclipse,it'snotthatit'salwaysexpected,butitmovesyouinanew
directionforyourkarmawhereasthelunareclipseismore,here'saconclusion
tothiswhichdoesalsomoveyou,ifyoucanacceptthechangesthatare
broughttoyouthenyoucanmoveforwardintoyourlife.Eclipsesaretriggered
bytransitsandprogressions,especiallysecondaryandansolararcprogressions.
RememberwhatIsaid,andI'llrepeatitbecauseit'sworthrepeating,aneclipse
canbringaneventtoyourlifemonthsandsometimesuptoayearbeforethe
actualeclipse.Itcanalsoactivateaneventaftertheeclipsetakesplace.You
couldhavetheeclipseandsay,"Well,nothingmuchhappened,"andthen3
monthslater,atransitofMarscrossesthatpointoftheeclipsethatconjoins
yournatalplanetandboom,there'stheevent.Rememberthat,thetiming,it
mightseemalittledifferentbutI'mtellingyou,youcantakeayearinaperson's
lifeandlookateclipsesandyou'llabsolutelyknowwhatwentonandwhat
happened.
We'regoingtotalkabouttheeclipsesin2016.Bytheway,eclipsescanhavean
effectalsooncountries,onrulersofcountriesofcourse,becauseitwouldbe
theirnatalchartandtome,it'simportantinourownnatalcharts,howthe

eclipsesaffectussothat'swhatI'mfocusingmoreon.OnMarch9of2016,
thereisaneclipseat18degreesofPisces.Thesearetheeclipsesfor2016.That
isatotalsolareclipseandrememberwhatIsaid,ifyouhadplanetsat18
degreesofthemutable,you'regoingtofeelthateclipseandyoumighthave
already.Well,whenthesuncomestothepointthatsquarestheeclipse,which
is3monthsbefore,thenyoucanalsofeeltheeffectsoftheeclipse.Nowthere
isalunareclipseandusuallyeclipsesfolloweachotherbyabout2weeks,like
there'sanewmoonandthenafullmoonandsothenewmoonbringsone
eclipseandthefullmoonbringstheother.Thenewmoonbringsthesolar
eclipse,thefullmoonbringsthelunareclipse.OnMarch23,2016,wehavean
eclipseat3degreesofPisces.
Ifsomeofyouremember,lastSeptemberof2015,therewasaneclipseat4
Aries.Asyoucansee,theseeclipsesareadegreeapartandthey'reLibra-Aries.
IfyouhadaplanetinCancerorCapricornat3or4degrees,boom,you've
probablyalreadyfelttheeclipses.TheoneonMarch23isalunareclipse.It'sa
fullmooneclipse.Itisnotatotaleclipse.Theonlytotaleclipsein2016isMarch
9.Theninthesummer,whenwe'reinthedogdaysofthesummer,whichis
August18of2016,wehaveanothereclipseat25degreesAquarius,52minutes.
Again,ifyouhaveplanetsat25Aquariuswithin3degrees,25Leowithin3
degrees,25oftheother2fixedsignswhichwouldbeTaurusorScorpio,you're
goingtofeelthateclipse.Thenthereisthefactthattheyearof2016actually
has5eclipses.ThenextoneisSeptember1,2016,whichis9degreesofVirgo.
Thatisasolareclipseoranewbeginning.Here'swhat'sinterestingaboutthe9
degreesofVirgo,ifyounotice,Neptune'sbeenhangingaround9degreesof
Pisces,hasitnot?Asaresult,thateclipse...ifyouhaveplanetswhere
Neptune'sbeenaffectingyou,thenthateclipseinSeptemberisalsogoingto
haveevenastrongerimpactonyourlife.
InSeptember,SaturnisinmutablesignofSagittarius,soinAugustof2016,
there'stheeclipseat9degreesofVirgo,whichisasolarsothesunandmoon
areconjunct,right?ThenyouhaveSaturnat9degreesofSagittariussoyou're
getting...thenNeptuneisfadinginto...it'sretrogradegoinginto10degreesof
Pisces.Youdon'tjusthaveaneclipseandthesunthere.You'vegotSaturn
squaringitandNeptuneopposingit.Whenyoulookattheephemerus,youcan
seewherethingscangettriggeredreallyquicklyandthatit'smoreimpactful
becausewehavetransitingplanetssquaringthepointoftheeclipseor
conjunctingitoropposingit.SeewhatImean?Thisreallymakeseclipsesvery,
verystrong.Thisiswhat...youcouldalmostmakepredictionsjustusingthe
eclipsesinaperson'slife.Youcould,it'snotenoughbutyoucouldgetabig
bird'seyeviewofawholeperson'slifejustbylookingattheeclipses.Thenwe
havethelasteclipsein2016,whichisat24degreesofPisces,20minutesand
it'salunareclipse.Again,ifyouhaveplanetsnear24ofthemutable,thenthat
eclipse,whichwouldhavethesuninVirgo,themoonat24Pisces,theeclipse
andthenifyoursunislike24Sagor24Gemini,boom,you'rekindofhitbythis.

Letmerepeatthedatesagain.Ifyouhaveabirthdayononeofthesedatesor6
monthsfromoneofthesedates,thentheseeclipsesin2016willaffectyouthe
most.Thisisjustbasedonyoursunsign.March9,2016,March23,2016,
August18,2016,September1,2016andSeptember16,2016.Wehave,asyou
cansee,they'refalling,rememberIsaidtheycancluster.They'refallingin
PiscesandVirgomainlyandthenwehaveoneinLibraandoneinAquarius.You
wouldsaythatallthePiscespeopleouttherearehavingsomelifestylechanges
becauseofSaturn,becauseofNeptune,right?Thentheeclipses,2ofthem
fallinginthesignofPisces.Again,weshouldn'tbefearfulofthechanges.You

PredictiveAstrologydetailswhattoexpectwithanygivensolareclipsebasedon
thissarosseriesandwhat'sinterestingaboutthesarosseriesisthatDecember
14,2001,therewasasolareclipseat22degreesofSagittarius.Nowyouall
knowwhathappenedin2001,9/11,September11th.Thiseclipsewas3months
laterandintheUnitedStateschart,22SagittariusfallsoppositetheUSMarsat
21degreesofGemini.ThatsetoffMars,whichisviolence,war,youknow,it
wasunfortunatelyalossoflivesduetotheunfortunateincidentsof9/11with
theairplanesandthetowerscomingdown.Ifyoulookedatthesarosseriesof
thatthatparticulareclipse,itwas3degreessouthandaccordingtoBernadette
Brady,shesaiditbringssuddenendingsofassociationsorotherrelationship,

possiblywithyoungerpeople.IthasalargeemotionalcomponentasPlutois
involved.
Plutoisinvolvedbecauseatthetimethattheyrecordedthatfirsteclipse,Pluto
wasinvolvedsoitwasn'tinvolvedontheSeptember,wellitwasinvolvedon
September14,2001butI'msaying,thisiswhereshesays,"Plutowasinvolved
andthere'sasenseoftraumatictransformation."Itcouldbethoughtnew
receivedorshortjourneysundertaken.Whenyouthinkaboutthat,alotof
peoplewhodiedintheWorldTradeCenterswereyoungpeople.Alotofthem
wereborninthemid-60sandtheyhadthePluto-UranusconjunctioninVirgo,
someofthemwithitoppositeSaturnandPisces.
Thateclipse,fortheUSchart,wasincrediblyimportant.Also,onJuly5,which
was2monthsbeforethe9/11event,therewasalunareclipsewhichwasa
partiallunareclipseanditoccurredat13degreesand38minutesofCancer.As
youallknow,theUnitedStatesisaCancernation.ThateclipseoccurredonJuly
5,thedayafterthebirthdayoftheUnitedStates.Itwasinthe8thhouseof
deathandcommerceandmoneyandeverythingsothatpartiallunareclipse
kindofsetthingsinmotions,andthentheoneinDecemberandtheevent
happenedinthemiddleofthose2eclipses.
That'swhyit'sreallyimportanttotakealookateclipses.NowRobinWilliams
diedonAugust11,2014.TherewasaneclipseafewmonthslaterinOctoberof
2014at15degreesofAries.ThateclipseconjoinedhisJupiteranditopposedhis
NeptuneanditsquaredhisMars-Uranus.Thatwasthesuicidebutforhim,
becauseitwasconjunctJupiter,italsoforhimwasabigreleasetogetoutof
thebodythathedidn'twanttobeinanymore.Also,inRobinWilliam'schart,if
youusethe1:34pmbirthtimethatalotofpeopleuse,July21,1951inChicago,
Illinois.Hisascendantwas0ScorpioandtherewasaneclipseinOctober2014.
Nowremember,hediedinAugust,afewmonthsbeforebuttherewasan
eclipseinOctoberat0degreesofScorpioanditconjoinedhisascendant.
Thosewerebigchangesforhimbutrememberthey'rebasedonhislifestyle,
theywerebasedonadiagnosisofanillnessthathehad,soitaffectseveryone
differentlyaswehavetolookatalltheindividualchartsbutwhenyouseethat
thateclipsewasinAugust11andthe15degreesofAriesandhisMars-Uranus
were10and11Cancer,whichisalittlewiderthantheorbthatweusuallyallow
buthisNeptunewas16LibraandhisJupiterwas13Aries,almost14sohat
eclipseat15ArieswasbringingouthisT-square.Ifyouhaveat-squareinyour
chart,theeclipseisgoingtobemoreimpactfulifitballsononeoftheplanetsin
thet-squareorthegrandcrossorifyouhaveanythinglikethat.Thisiswhere
youcangobackwardintimeandyoucanlookatpeoplewhohadsignificant
eventsintheirlifeandyoucanseewheretheeclipsebroughtthatoutor
affectedthem.

outofaneclipse.I'veseenpeoplegetmarriedwithaneclipseontheirVenus,
thatwastiedupwiththe5thhouseorthe7th.Also,Ihaveachartofalottery
winnerandin1992,therewasalunareclipseat18degreesofGeminiwhichin
herchart,exactlyopposedher,shehadat-squaremutable.Everythingat18
degreesofmutable.Jupiter18Sag,Uranus,18Pisces,18Virgo.Rightonit.
There'sthistotallunareclipseinDecemberof1992at18Gemini,whichsetoff
herJupiterinhersecondhouseofmoneyandtheeclipsefellinher8thhouseof
otherpeople'smoneyorlotterymoneyandboom,shewonthelottery.Again,
andthey'resquares.
Bytheway,thoseofyouwhogamble,youcanwinonsquaresandopposition.
Youdon'talwayswinontrines.Itwasaluckyeventforher.Itwasn'tanegative
event,itwaslucky.Shewonmoney.Itwasverygoodsothat'sIthinkthemost
importantthingthatyougetoutofthispresentationtodayisdon'talwaysthink
thateclipsesarenegativeorbringanegativeeffectbutifyou'relookingat
chartsoffamilymembersorfamouspeopleorclients,youwillfindthatthe
eclipsesthatfalloncertainpartsofachartcanbenegativebecausethey're
moreimpactfultotheperson'slifeusuallyasfarasthetraumaofthat.Another
examplethat'sareallygoodoneisOJSimpsonwhowasbornJuly9,1947at
8:08aminSanFrancisco,California.Hehas24Leorising.Therewasatthetime
ofthemurdersofhisex-wife,therewasaneclipsein2008at...no,no,that's
nottheone,thatwasafterthemurders,excuseme.Therewasaneclipseafew
monthsbeforethemurdersat7degreesofGeminiand3minutes.Andguess
what?ThatwasexactlyconjuncthisMarsby1degree.1degree.
Now,Mars,amongotherthings,amongeverything,ithappenstoruleknives.
MarsandGeminiarethesignofknivesbecauseMarsisanythingthatcutsand

accusationscameoutandit'snotreallygoodforyourhealth,especiallyifyou're
anolderpersonlikeheisbecauseheis78yearsoldsohemighthavesome
healthproblemsbecauseofthestressthathascomeoutofallofthis.

correctbirthtimeforthemandgobackandlookattheirchartwhentherewas
asignificanteventthatmadetheheadlinesthatyouknowifprettyauthentic,

SaturnorMarsbecauseSaturnandMarsareconsideredthemalificsandVenus
andJupiterarethebeneficsbutwedon'twanttotakethatoutofcontext.
