Modifying Outlook on Your iOS Device After Office 365

This article covers how faculty/staff can update their Outlook app on their Apple iOS device (e.g.
iPad, iPhone) after their campus email account has been upgraded to Office 365 email.
New to the Outlook iOS app? View the article on setting up Outlook on iOS.
1. Tap on the Outlook app. You will get an error message. Tap Login.
1. Tap on the Outlook app to open it.
2. An error message appears indicating your account can't be accessed. Tap Login.
2. Tap the trash icon at the top left to delete the profile.
Your Outlook profile will need to be deleted and re-created. Tap the trash icon at the top left to
delete the current profile.

3. Tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Delete to confirm that you want to delete the profile.
4. Click Get Started.

5. Enter your campus email account and then tap Add Account.
1. Enter your campus email address (e.g. [email protected]).
2. Tap Add Account.
6. Slide the button next to Use Advanced Settings.
Turn on Advanced Settings by sliding the button next to Use Advanced Settings.

7. Enter your campus email address and password. Then enter
outlook.office365.com as the server and your username
@ad.fullerton.edu as the username. Then click Sign In.

Enter your campus email address (e.g. [email protected]).
Enter your campus password.
Optional: enter a description for this account.
Enter outlook.office365.com as the server name.
Enter your username as [email protected] (e.g. [email protected]).
Tap Sign In.
Within a few minutes, you should start seeing your emails appear.

8. Don't see your emails? Tap on Settings.

9. Tap on your account and then tap Reset Account.
1. Tap on your account on the left.
2. Then tap Reset Account.

10. You're done!
Once you start seeing your emails appear in the Outlook app, you're all done!
NOTE: This process may remove some of your settings so you may need to return to the Settings
screen to update your Notifications or Signature settings.
