EMPANELMENT OF DETECTIVE AGENCIES WITH QUOTE OF
FEE PER ASSIGNMENT
IFCI Limited invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from reputed private
detective agencies for carrying out investigation/asset verification of its
Borrowers/Guarantors in South India region. Interested parties may
submit their EOI in sealed cover addressed to DGM (Law), IFCI Ltd.,
Continental Chambers, M.G. Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai – 600034, on
or before 4 p.m. on 16/12/2016. The EOIs received without relevant
particulars shall be summarily rejected. Please note that the mere
submission of EOI does not mean inclusion of the name of the Detective
Agency in the panel of Detective Agencies and IFCI’s decision in the matter
shall be final. The scope of work and details are given below:
SCOPE OF WORK
1. To locate the missing borrowers/guarantors, their present occupation,
income streams etc.
2. To unearth the uncharged properties of the guarantors for recovery
actions and documentary evidences thereof.
3. To search the legal heirs of the guarantors, their assets, source of
income etc.
4. To identify the properties alienated/transferred by the guarantors/
promoters to their family members/others during the currency of loan of
IFCI.
5. Any other requirements of IFCI for making the recovery efforts more
effective through legal system or otherwise.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Detective Agency should have a standing of minimum 3 years proven
track record with Financial Institutions / Banks etc. Agencies which are being
run by senior ex-officials of Police/CVC/Crime Branch and Government
Investigative Agencies (minimum of the rank of ACP/DSP), will have an
added advantage.
Non-Disclosure Agreement
The Detective Agencies (the Agency), so selected for empanelment, shall be
required to execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement with IFCI to the effect that
all proprietary and confidential information or personal data of IFCI and the
promoters/guarantors shall be utilized by the Agency strictly confidentially
and shall not be shared with any outside unauthorized person.
Award of Assignment
The Assignments to the empanelled Detective Agencies will be based on
internal selection policy of IFCI and Agency shall have no right to claim on
any specific assignment.
Time frame
The Agency shall be given specific time frame depending upon urgency of
the matter/orders of DRT(s).Court(s) etc. on case to case basis for
completion of the assignment. However, IFCI, at its sole discretion, may
extend the time frame considering the complexity of the assignment.
Validity of Panel
The Panel of Detective Agencies shall be valid for two years. Further, IFCI,
on annual basis, shall review the performance of the empanelled Agency and
shall have the right to withdraw the name(s) of the Detective Agency from
the Approved Panel during the term of the Panel giving one month’s notice.
Similarly, if any approved Detective Agency wants to disassociate from IFCI
from the assignment/panel, it may do so by giving one month’s notice.
