services – not just classic television and radio signals anymore. Today, telephone and Internet connections are also carried by the CATV network
using state-of-the-art electronics. One issue is increased demand on your glass fibre networks and components. Another one is effective protection from disruptive external influences. Almatec is committed to these tasks.
Landline network
No matter whether the underground cable is installed as twisted pair copper
wire or glass fibre, these delicate cables require optimal protection. Almatec has
the appropriate solution.
Mobile network
The transmission components of air interfaces are mainly placed out of doors
and require protection from environmental influences. Harsh climatic conditions
are often present and Almatec housings provide optimal protection.
CATV
We develop, manufacture and install various housings to protect your valuable
material. They protect your networks from time-consuming breakdowns and
fault repairs.
IT
The hardware and software used in information and data processing is specially
housed and some components require cooling. You will be on the safe side with
the 19” or ETSI version of our intelligent rack system.

Energy

energy. Almatec’s product range covers the needs of the energy industry perfectly in the area of scalable housing systems. Whether shaft, cabin
or cabinet systems, we offer tailor made, scalable and expandable products for interior and exterior use. Additionally, we also serve suitable
cooling modules, which can be matched to specific requirements. Electric, gas water and even extremely delicate glass fibre components feel
comfortable in our housings.
Electricity
Electricity generation mainly takes place in power stations with comprehensive
distribution by the operators of electrical grids. In order to protect the highly
sensitive components in electrical distribution, Almatec offers the appropriate
protective housings.
Water
Almatec manufactures various housings for indoor and outdoor use in the
hydroelectric field. The control equipment that has to be protected by the
Almatec housing distributes the generated energy at the hydroelectric station to
end users.
Gas
In order to store the largest possible quantity of gas in a container, it is highly
compressed. Gas suppliers normally store the gas in the pipeline network.
Almatec supplies the custom housings for gas distribution stations.
Wind
A wind turbine converts the wind’s kinetic energy into electrical energy and
feeds it into the electrical grid. A generator converts the energy into high
voltage. Almatec has the custom solution to protect the generator and energy
distribution.
Bioenergy
