FRESUBIN JUCY DRINK
DESCRIPTION
A flavoured, juice style liquid supplement containing protein
(whey), carbohydrates (maltodextrin and sucrose), vitamins,
minerals and trace elements. Fat free.
PRESENTATION
Fresubin Jucy is a juice style high energy, high protein
supplement drink. Fresubin Jucy is ready to use and presented in
a 200ml bottle. Available in a choice of 5 flavours: Apple, Cherry,
Blackcurrant, Pineapple and Orange.
Lactose and gluten free.

INDICATIONS FOR USE
Fresubin Jucy is prescribable on FP10/GP10 for the following
indications: short bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption,
pre-operative preparation of patients who are undernourished,
patients with proven inflammatory bowel disease, following total
gastrectomy, bowel fistulae, dysphagia, CAPD and haemodialysis
and disease related malnutrition.
DOSAGE
Dosage should be calculated by a clinician or dietitian according
to individual requirements.
As a guide, for supplementary nutrition:2 x 200ml bottles per day will provide 600kcal, 16g protein and
contains the average adult daily requirements for vitamins and
trace elements* (Dietary Reference Values for Food, Energy and
Nutrients for the UK, DH 1991).
*except iron, provides 12.5mg and selenium, provides 62.5µg
STORAGE
Store in a cool place, do not store above 25°C.
Once opened, can be stored for up to 24 hours
in a refrigerator.
