LATEST NEWS New Chef Starts at Studio! We welcome Mariusz to the Cafe Studio kitchen! Mariusz, originally from Poland, has held a number of exciting posts in his culinary career to date. He was Head Chef at one of our larger high schools in Cambridge; served up comfort to the residents of a local care home for the elderly and was responsible for the 'feeding of the 500' in a sizable corporate organisation, situated at the Cambridge Business Park. Welcome Mariusz! We look forward to tasting your wares! A SNIPPET OF LIFE IN CAMBRIDGE A Busker in the Bin! This month's photo is of one of our more famous street buskers, Charlie. We think he plays the guitar and sings very well indeed...but it seems that he thinks he is a load of rubbish! What do you think? Click on the link below to watch his performance! Busker in the Bin LET'S HEAR FROM THE STUDENTS! What do you think of English food? Hiro, aged 21, studying on our EFL-28 course and Kenta, aged 23, studying on our Cambridge Examination 28-FCE course. “We didn't know about English food because English food isn't famous in Japan. Usually we can't find restaurant we can eat English food in Japan. Also we thought we can't eat Japanese food in England since Japan is too far from England so we thought Japanese food isn't famous in European countries. Many Japanese people think English food isn't good. However, after we came to England we were surprised! As we ate English breakfast and fish & chips in some pubs. And actually, it was delicious!! We can find some Japanese restaurants and some shops which we can buy seasoning in Cambridge, although it is a little bit expensive. But it is good and we can cook Japanese food in our house.” CAMBRIDGE EVENTS Cambridge Beer Festival 2016 23rd - 28th May 2016 The Cambridge Beer Festival was first held in 1974.
