Classroom (School) Champion
Lead to read is an easily implemented program, and often
requested by teachers and administrators. We're absolutely
open to partnering with individuals, businesses and churches
to champion a school that they have a particular interest
in that we’re not already serving.
A champion is a group or individual focused on
connecting and recruiting a minimum number of Readers
(usually 15-20 Readers) to start the new class. Lead to Read
matches one on one Reader and student connections in
classrooms. The Champion would be the primary recruiting
force, Lead to Read would list and communicate the new
school to our network. The classroom is open to all from
the community. If the organization or individual has a
connection to the school, we ask for assistance in initial contact.
Lead to Read will meet with the school, explain the program
and work to implement our model within their
structure and regulations.
