APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Surface preparation:
Remove any loose material, old layers of distemper, wallpaper, dirt,
grease, wax and oil e.g. mould oil. The surfaces must be dry,
absorbent, sound, clean and dust-free. Roughen smooth surfaces.
With very absorbent surfaces e.g. gas concrete blocks, first dampen
or preferably prime. If the surface is hardly absorbent, a bonding
agent must be applied. We recommend that a moisture test is
carried out before starting. and the paper is allowed for 5 to 10
minutes to become soft. Then bonding application is carried out.
Product application:
Mix 1.5 parts Filler to 1 part clean water. We recommend that the
water is added to the mixing vessel first. To achieve a lump-free
consistency, it is best to leave it to soak for about 2 mins. Apply with
filling knife or plasterer’s trowel. It is possible to smooth the surface
as soon as the filler begins to set. The surface must be damped
slightly.
