Summer MUSICAl THEATRE Camp 2017
Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the hip hip
Hippo and, of course, those hilarious, plotting penguins as they bound onto your
stage in the musical adventure of a lifetime. Based on the smash DreamWorks
animated motion picture, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR. follows all
of your favorite crack-a-lackin’ friends as they escape from their home in New
York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the
madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar.

No experience is necessary. This musical theatre camp offers campers the thrilling experience of producing a show.
Campers will rehearse for two weeks, culminating in three performances the final Friday and Saturday. Auditions take
place on the first day to help place campers in appropriate roles.
Every camper will receive instruction in acting, singing, and dancing through a daily, three-rotation process. Through
rotations and small-group work, campers are provided with instruction in basic theatre techniques and skills needed for
performance. Campers will take part in theatre games and exercises to build self-confidence and teamwork. Each session limited to 65 students. Camp fee includes Student Show Book, Rehearsal CD, Daily Snack and Camp T-Shirt.

**Late Rate: $350 May 20 until camp begins

fee until the Friday prior to each camp session. $25 fee
on all returned checks. $25 Discount for each child in
