County-wide meetings:
1. Thursday, February 16 - 7:00 p.m., Courthouse - orientation, get acquainted and
organizational meeting
2. Thursday, March 23 – 6:00-8:00 p.m., Courthouse – project workshop
B.
Bicycle events:
1. Saturday, June 3 - 8:00 a.m. – 4-H Fair mountain bike ride and hill climb, Rockport
Park, Janesville. Practice at 8:00 a.m. Registration is 8:00-8:30 a.m. Event held
rain or shine.
2. Tuesday, June 20 - Fairgrounds - 4-H Fair events:
6:00 p.m. – Bicycle rodeo
Followed by - Bicycle time trials
3. Wednesday, June 21 - Rain date for above, same times and location
4. Saturday, July 22 - 5:00 p.m. – 4-H Fair Bicycle Tour de 4-H, leaving from Lions
Beach Boat Launch, Janesville. Registration is 5:00-5:15 p.m.; tour begins at 5:30
p.m. Event held or rain or shine.
C.
Tuesday, July 25 - Entry and judging day at the Rock County 4-H Fair. All bicycle projects
are due. Face-to-face judging, 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. in the Blackhawk Building.
D.
Thursday, July 27 – 6:00 p.m. – Mechanical Science trophies awarded in the Craig Avenue
Pavilion on the fairgrounds.
E.
Exhibit release is Sunday, July 30, 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Blackhawk Building.
