Polygon: a closed plane geometric figure composed of at least three line segments that do not cross. None of the sides are curved. Triangle: a polygon with three angles and three sides. Pentagon: a 5 – sided polygon Quadrilateral: a polygon with four sides. Hexagon: a 6 – sided polygon Rectangle: a quadrilateral with four right angles. Heptagon: a 7 ‐ sided polygon Square: a rectangle with four sides of equal length. Octagon: a 8 ‐ sided polygon Trapezoid: a quadrilateral with exactly one pair of parallel sides. Nonagon: a 9 ‐ sided polygon Parallelogram: a quadrilateral with both pairs of opposite sides parallel. Decagon: a 10 – sided polygon Rhombus: a quadrilateral with 4 congruent sides.
