Aircon Manager This PC-based system offers both centralised control and a function for the proportional distribution of gas/electricity bills. In recent years, air-conditioning systems have become increasingly large. Yanmar Energy System’s Aircon Manager1 can be used to control complex, sophisticated airconditioning systems from a personal computer. It also incorporates a function for the proportional distribution of gas/electricity bills,2 an essential feature for commercial buildings. 1. Please consult our representative before making any decision on the adoption of this system. 2. Please ensure the calculation method is suitable for your installation. Aircon Manager LV256B2 (Interface and software) Personal computer for Aircon Manager use only, monitor, printer and UPS must be obtained locally. Monitoring Operation and set Proportional distribution of bill System setting Start/Stop Start/Stop Summary for individual tenant Zone setting Room temperature Set temperature Summary for individual group Schedule setting Set temperature Operation mode Print of summary lists Setting scheduled operation Operation mode Airflow direction Setting period of proportional distribution Display of general history Malfunction Fan speed Setting method of proportional distribution Initial setting (registration of group) Filter inspection Remote controller permission/prohibition Setting excluded time of proportional distribution Setting option of proportional distribution Instant confirmation of zone/group operating conditions The status of each group is indicated using red for operation, green for stoppage and yellow for malfunction. Each group’s set temperatures, operation modes, current room temperatures and malfunction error codes are all displayed in lists. These lists enable instant visual confirmation of the operating and setting status of air conditioners. Start/stop operation of units can also be executed directly from this screen. Control of daily start/stop on yearly schedule and achievement of energy savings Individual operation patterns in which the system starts/stops up to 8 times a day can be set for week days, holidays and 2 special schedules. It is also possible to operate a yearly schedule by registering these patterns to the calendar. Operation can be controlled for individual zones and all groups as well as individual groups. Setting of air direction, fan speed, remote controller permission/prohibition, as well as basic start/stop control More efficient facility management thanks to display/print out of gas/electricity consumption for individual zones In addition to daily start/stop control, operation modes (cooling, heating, fan only), set temperatures, air directions, fan speeds and resetting of filter indicators can all be managed using simple mouse operations. It is also possible to permit/prohibit basic functions (start/stop, operation modes, set temperatures) from remote controllers. The proportional distribution of gas/electricity consumption during a specific period can be displayed and printed out for individual zones and groups as well as all groups. The following 3 methods are available for calculating the proportional distribution. • Air-conditioning period (standard): Total gas/electricity consumption is proportionally distributed according to the period for which the thermostat of each indoor unit is on. • Price rate: Period for which the thermostat of each unit is on is multiplied by a set price rate. • Air-conditioning load: Total gas/electricity consumption is proportionally distributed according to the refrigerant flow of each indoor unit. Examples of System Configuration Monitor unit RS232C Output The proportional distribution function is not available for floor-standing duct type indoor units YZFVP280-560M and YZFVP1120M/1400M/1600M. It is also not available for floor-standing duct type units during the outdoor-air processing mode or the spot energy-saving mode. Aircon Manager interface Maximum of 64 groups Gas and electricity meters (Obtain locally) Up to 12 units can be connected using an optional interface. Incorporating an optional expansion printed circuit board allows an additional 256 indoor unit groups to be connected to an Aircon Manager 2 line system. Input of forced stoppage Standard 4 contact input available (No-voltage contact input) * When the function for proportional distribution of gas/electricity bills is available, up to 256 groups and indoor units can be connected using an optional expansion printed circuit board. Yanmar centralised control equipment can be used together with the Aircon Manager system. a single Aircon Manager system is not sufficient to manage a facility (more than 256 groups required), Expansion of System Ifcontact Yanmar Energy System regarding systems with up to 4 Aircon Manager interface units. Such systems for Large Facilities enable the connection of a total of 1,024 groups, which can still be managed from a single personal computer. Options Expansion printed circuit board A printed circuit board that can be used to expand the number of lines connectable to Aircon Manager interface from the standard 2 lines to 4 lines. This enables the creation of a large network with Aircon Manager interface’s 4 lines connected to 64 groups.
