INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOUNTING IMPORTANT WARNINGS a) Before any intervention to or maintenance of the light fitting, it is necessary to disconnect the light circuit from the electrical network. This is to be performed only by a person qualified for performing this kind of activities in accordance with valid regulations. The light fitting may be connected into an electrical network where the installation and the protection are in accordance with rules in operation. It is very important that the yellow-green wire of the light fitting is connected properly to the blue wire in the distributor. Light fittings with electronic ballasts must be connected to the earth conductor – otherwise the electronic ballast is likely to get damaged. b) It is forbidden to cover recessed light fittings with isolation mats or similar materials. c) It is not allowed to connect light fittings designed for continuous lines before mounting. Manipulation with a line of light fittings might cause damage. d) When replacing light sources, use fluorescent lamps equivalent to the ones you want to replace. Disposal of fluorescent light fittings and light sources after the end of their lifetime or when they are defective must be performed in accordance with the disposal law in operation. In case the above mentioned warnings are not respected or the light fittings are handled in an incompetent way, the guarantee ceases to be valid. Guarantee conditions: A 24-month guarantee applies to the light fittings unless determined differently. A properly signed delivery bill is necessary for raising a complaint. 1. Electrical connection of light fittings The light fitting is assigned for 230V/50 Hz nominal voltage. It is equipped with a screwless terminal board designed for connecting conductors with solid cable cores of max. S=2,5 mm2 profile. Each pole of the terminal board can take max. two conductors. Strip approximately 10mm of the insulation at the ends of the conductors. 2.1. Removing louvre and plexiglass frame from IP20 or IP40 light fitting cca 20 mm Pull the louvre (frame) slightly out of the light fitting. Attention! You can pull the louvre (frame) out of the light fitting only by approximately 20mm. Push the clips and pull louvre out of the grooves in the light fitting. If the louvre is polished or matt, use gloves for handling. Do not forget to reconnect the guard wire when reinserting the louvre into the light fitting! 2.2. Removing asymmetrical reflector Remove the protective foil, push the reflector according to the arrows and take it out. Use gloves and be careful not to deform the reflector. 2.3. Removing diffuser and reflectors from “WINGS“ When connecting the light fitting to electrical network, pull out the perforated cover and one of the reflectors slightly as shown in the picture. When mounting into plasterboard, take out both reflectors and follow point 3.4. BAYONET 2.4. Removing plexi cover (glass cover ) from IP 54 and IP65 light fittings The frame is attached to the light fitting with bayonets. In order to dismount the frame, you need to turn the bayonets by 90O. When handling the light fitting, always check if the sealing elements that ensure the protection of the light fitting are undamaged. Should you be in doubt, replace the sealing elements immediately. 2.5. Light fittings with SPORT louvres SPORT louvres are equipped with 4 safety locks ensuring that the louvre does not fall out after being hit by a ball. Fasten the locks by pushing them out after installing the louvre into the light fitting according to point 2.1- it is important for your safety!! CAP 3. Mounting of light fittings M600 and M625 recessed light fittings Insert the light fittings from above into a standardized construction for mineral false ceilings. It is not necessary to fix the light fittings. It is forbidden to cover recessed light fittings with isolation mats or similar materials.
