Workshop 1: Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr. (musical)

Workshop 1: Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr. (musical)
Based on the ever-popular, award-winning 1970s cartoons, this fastpaced musical teaches lessons with clever catchy tunes. A new teacher is
starting and is very nervous on their first day at a new school; using
memorable songs such as ‘Lolly, Lolly, Lolly’, ‘Conjunction Junction’, and
‘Just A Bill’ to win over the students.
Workshop 2: Death to the Drama Club!
TEEN WORKSHOP (ages 13 and up)
Drama club students come to the rescue when their wickedly devious temporary
principal, Mrs. Grackle, threatens to cut their struggling program to balance the
school’s budget. The students and their sponsor rally together to give an
impassioned plea at the school board meeting. Impressed, the board decides to
give the club on last chance, provided they can put an original version of Wizard of
Oz together…in one week. The result is an uproarious, whirlwind adaption of the
modern classic, but is it enough to save their beloved drama club?

Workshop 3: The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales
Though the characters may be familiar, each of your favorite storybook fables is
uproariously derailed in this adaption of Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith’s
quintessential children’s book of fractured fairy tales. Everything from ‘Chicken
Little’ to ‘The Gingerbread Man’ gets a complete makeover.

Workshop 5: A Midsummer Night’s Dream
“The course of true love never did run smooth,” says Lysander. Shakespeare used
that chaos brilliantly to create this delightful comedy. With love-struck Athenians,
meddlesome fairies and bumbling troupe of amateur actors, the show is a mix of
magic and merriment.
