The Essex County Council (City of Chelmsford) (Waiting, Loading and Parking
Consolidation) (Variation No.56) Order 201*
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under
Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of
Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To introduce ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions on the following
lengths of Fairway Drive, Brassie Wood, Niblick Green and Jigger Gardens, Little Waltham
in the City of Chelmsford:
LOCATION
EXTENT
Fairway Drive,
EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 14 metres in a generally
Little Waltham
northerly direction of its junction with Brassie Wood to a point
approximately 11 metres generally south of its junction with Brassie
Wood.
Brassie Wood,
NORTH WEST SIDE: From its junction with Fairway Drive for a distance
Little Waltham
of approximately 19 metres in a generally easterly direction.
NORTH WEST, NORTH AND EAST SIDES: From a point approximately
45 metres from its junction with Fairway Drive for a distance of
approximately 291 metres in a generally easterly direction.
EAST SIDE:
i.
From its junction with Niblick Green for a distance of
approximately 69 metres in a northerly direction.
ii.
From its junction with Jigger Gardens, for a distance of
approximately 46 metres in a north easterly direction
iii.
From its junction with Jigger Gardens, for a distance of
approximately 30 metres in a south westerly direction and
approximately 10 metres in to the junction were Brassie wood
meets itself.
SOUTH EAST SIDE:
i. From its junction with Fairway Drive for a distance of
approximately 64 metres.
ii. From its junction with Niblick Green for a distance of
approximately 21 metres in a westerly direction.
SOUTH WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 89 metres east from
junction with Jigger Gardens in a generally south easterly direction for 26
metres.
WEST SIDE:
i.
From a point approximately 78 metres north from junction with
Niblick Green for a distance of approximately 38 metres in a
generally Southerly direction ending approximately 10 metres into
the side road also called Brassie Wood.
ii.
From a point approximately 108 metres east from its junction with
Massie Link, for a distance of approximately 71 metres in a
generally Northerly direction ending approximately 10 metres into
the side road also called Brassie Wood.
Niblick Green,
BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Brassie Wood for a distance of
Little Waltham
approximately 5 metres in a generally south easterly direction
Jigger Gardens, BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Brassie Wood for a distance of
Little Waltham
approximately 5 metres in a generally easterly direction
Schedule 3 of The Borough Council of Chelmsford (Waiting, Loading and Parking
Consolidation) Order 2009 will be amended as detailed above.
