The Treasury of
Precious Qualities
The root text was written by the great
Nyingma master Jigme Lingpa
(1730-1793). The teachings recorded in this
text were revealed to him in a series of
visions.
Jigme Lingpa is quoted as saying, “If the
meditator is able to use whatever occurs
in his life as the path, his body becomes a
retreat hut.”
Precious Handwritten Notes
Khenpo Tubten Chopel
(1886-1956), a Nyingma
Dzogchen scholar from Dzato
Changma Monastery in the
upper Kham region of eastern
Tibet, made these handwritten
annotations in the margins of the
text.
