(Evil looks, evil tone in voices)
W3: One toad’s foot, ten bats’ eyeballs, one bottle of slug slime and five
humans’ tongues.
W1: Today’s the day Macbeth becomes king! Why what goodness shall he
bring?
W2: When shall we three meet again? In thunder, lightning or in rain?
W3: When the hurly burly’s done, when the battle’s lost and won.
W2: Here comes Macbeth and his counterpart Banquo. Let’s frighten them to
death.

On a bleak and distant heath.
Narrator:
Pouring rain and thunderous lightning hit the heath where
Macbeth and Banquo walked after a mighty battle had been
won.
(A clasp of thunder is heard and the narrator leaves the stage while Macbeth
and Banquo enter from the right)
Banquo:
So foul and fair a day hath not been seen.
(Banquo puts his arms out to feel the rain)
Macbeth:
Aye,
(Macbeth nods his head slowly and deliberately then sighs)
Banquo:
Our swords were like lightning!
(Fights an imaginary soldier)
Macbeth:
Aye! Hail King Duncan!
(Both raise their swords in the air and carry on walking around the stage)
(The three witches enter the stage with the cauldron, the pot, and the two
soldiers reach them)
Banquo:
What have we here?
Macbeth:
Dark magic!
Raises his sword)
Banquo:
Aye.
Witch1:
We three hail Macbeth Thane of Glamis!
(Bow)
Witch2:
Soon to be Thane of Cawdor!
(Bow)
Whitch3:
And there after King of Scotland!
(Bow)
Whitch3:
Banquo, loyal friend. Ye shall Father those who bare the
crown but you shall never wear gold upon your head.
(Everyone exits except Macbeth then the King enters)
King Duncan:
Macbeth, you were so courageous in battle. Hereafter, call
yourself Thane of Cawdor.
(The king leaves the stage Macbeth faces the audience)
Macbeth:
(Macbeth exits)
I can be king!

In Macbeth’s castle in Inverness
Lady Macbeth pours poison in the guards’ drinks, therefore drugging them
when she hands the goblets to them.
Guard 1:
(Forcing a smile) Great drink Lady Macbeth.
Guard2:
(Also forces a smile, as his drink also tastes funny) Yes, Lady
Macbeth superb drink. Have you added any new spices?
LM:
(Smiling coldly) Yes, I’m glad you noticed, I’ve added
some ginger lemon.
Guard 1:
(Whilst saying this, collapses to the ground) Aahh, very
nice…
Guard 2:
(A few seconds later he also collapses to the ground) What’s
happening?
LM and M in their bedroom
LM:
I’ve drugged the guards, now it’s your turn Macbeth. DO
NOT MESS IT UP!!!
M:
I will try my best.
M:
(Macbeth walks into the hallway of his house) Is this a
dagger which I see before me, the handle toward my hand?
Inside King Duncan’s bedroom
Narrator:
Fearing that Macbeth will not kill Duncan, Lady Macbeth
plans to kill King Duncan herself.
LM:
I will kill you, you treacherous beast!
LM:
(Lady Macbeth’s voice falters, and she walks out of his
bedroom) If he hadn’t looked so much like my father, I
would have killed him there and then.
LM:
(Lady Macbeth tells Macbeth) Come on! Do you really want
to look like a wimp in front of everybody? Come on, KILL
HIM ALREADY!
M:
You’re right, I can do this!
M:
(Macbeth then takes the guard’s daggers and walks into
King Duncan’s bedroom)
M:
Good bye my cousin!
(M stabs King Duncan to Death)
M:
Lady Macbeth, the deed is done.
LM:
(Looking surprised) Now see it’s not that bad is it? Now you
shall be king!
(Macbeth sneaks up behind the unconscious guards and
stabs them with their own daggers)

(In the castle of where King Duncan lived)
Donaldbain:
Here are our father’s ashes, our almighty ruler of this fine
country.
Malcolm:
I don’t think that the guard killed our father because they
try to protect him and that’s their job.
Donaldbain:
But his blood was on the guard’s sword.
Malcolm:
I know, but it’s Macbeth I just know it is. The guards were
unconscious at the time, I don’t know why but that was the
time for him and his horrible wife to kill him.
Donaldbain:
Well, he has been acting strangely recently.
Malcolm:
Make haste and flee, could be us next! (Shocked face)
Donaldbain:
To Ireland, I!
Malcolm:
I to England!
(In Macbeth’s castle where he is staring at the miserable
day through the window)
Macbeth:
Whahaha, I am ruler of Scotland! I will rule this country for
as long as I live. The people shall fear me forever!
Mwhahaha, Mwhahah!!
Lady Macbeth:
Darling oh darling, worry about those witches and what
they said, that may be true about Banquo father of all kings
(looking at Macbeth with a worried face)
(In Macbeth’s room where he is very angry)
Macbeth:
Arghh! What do I do? Ooooooh, I know what to do…
Servant! (Rubbing his hands together in glee)
Servant:
Yes sir, what do you want? (Shaking in fear)
Macbeth:
Do as I say and come here! (Shouting down at the servant)
Servant:
Okay my lord! (Scared)
Macbeth:
Now, order me an assassin and tell him to make haste and
come here!
Servant:
Okay sir. (Writing a letter to the assassin)
(At Macbeth entrance of his castle waiting for his assassin)
Macbeth:
Good afternoon, my assassin.
Assassin:
Hello master, who shall I kill for you?
Macbeth:
Now I would like you to kill Banquo and his son, Fleance.
Assassin:
Okay Sir, money? (Handing his hands out to Macbeth)
Macbeth:
Ah yes! (Handing 5 pieces of gold to him)

Macbeth:
Ah hello how did it go?
Assassin:
Ermmm
Macbeth:
What?!
Assassin:
That Fleance guy escaped!
Macbeth:
Oh you stupid assassin, you didn’t do as I said! Leave this
building as I said!
