• The Jaguars have played at EverBank Field, previously known as Jacksonville
Municipal Stadium (1995-96, 2007-09) and Alltel Stadium (1997-2006), since the
franchise’s inaugural season in 1995. The stadium originally opened with a seating
capacity of 73,000, which later expanded to 76,867. Prior to the 2014 campaign,
the Jaguars removed 9,500 seats as part of a $63 million renovation to install a
pool deck and end zone cabanas at EverBank Field, reducing the stadium capacity
for NFL games to 67,164. The largest crowd ever at EverBank Field was 85,413 for
an NCAA football game between Florida State and Alabama on Sept. 29, 2007.
