The stadium originally opened with a seating capacity of 73,000, which later expanded to 76,867. Prior to the 2014 campaign, the Jaguars removed 9,500 seats as part of a $63 million renovation to install a pool deck and end zone cabanas at EverBank Field, reducing the stadium capacity for NFL games to 67,164.
